"Mike, can I talk to you for a second?" Rachel set out the wine on the table as her husband wandered into the kitchen.

"What is it?" A concerned look spread across his face and Mike neared Rachel.

"Look, I don't want to jinx anything, but I've been getting quite queasy these past few mornings, and it feels... kinda the same as when I was pregnant with Rosalie." Mike's mouth curled into a smile.

"Woah, Rachel. That's big."

"I know. I bought a test today in the store, but I haven't had the time to take it. I just wanted to tell you because this is your journey as much as mine."

"Thank you, babe. I mean, maybe our work payed off, that didn't take long did it?" He excitedly placed his hands on her face and cupped her head in them.

"I don't know yet! I'll take the test tonight when everyone is in bed."

"Okay." He kissed her gently and softly, as Rosalie came running in.

"They here! Uncle Harwey's here!" She shouted, grabbing and swinging around on her parents' legs.

"Ooh let's go and let them in then!"

"So, how's things on this neck of the woods?" Donna asked as she smiled at Rosalie, who was playing on Harvey's lap.

"They're good! I'm working three days a week, the rest I'm doing bits here and there at home. Mike's being a kick ass lawyer and Rosalie is perfect." Rachel explained grinning.

"Sounds like you're living the dream!"

"We sure are," Mike interrupted, walking in with a two wine glasses and a bottle of red wine, "Care for a drink?" Harvey and Donna both nodded as the glasses were set on the table and he pulled the cork off the wine.

"What about in New York?" Rachel let out a deep sigh.

"Oh, it's going swimmingly, Louis is preparing for a second child which is both sweet and hilarious, Harvey is also being a kickass closer, and me, well, I'm me." They all laughed, and Rosalie hopped off Harvey's lap, running towards her dad sitting down on the vacant sofa. He pulled her up and sat her down on his knee.

"I can't wait to see what this kid looks like." Harvey joked as he took a long swig of wine.

"Heyy, it could be cute." Rachel defended and they all looked at her as if she'd screamed bloody murder. Sniggering, each of them thought about the baby as another mini Louis.

"Dinner should be ready; shall we go and eat?"

"Sounds good." The men made their way swiftly into the kitchen, Rosalie closely behind them, however Donna held Rachel back for a moment by touching her arm indicatively.

"Hey, why aren't you drinking? You're usually the first to jump on the wine train!" Donna laughed with Rachel as she tried to think up a viable lie.

"I'm taking some antibiotics that don't mix well with alcohol, I was advised to steer away until the course is finished."

"Oh really, and for what?"

"I had strep throat, and I have to finish the course, I've only got three more days of medication left, then I'm back to alcohol!"

"Alright then! Anyone would think you were pregnant!"

"Well, I can assure you I'm not!" Rachel picked herself up and ignored the dizziness that met her. It was beginning to seem more and more likely that she in fact was pregnant.

After dinner, Mike put Rosalie straight to bed, and the four had another one of their never-ending conversations. When Mike noticed that Rachel began to look tired, he cut it off and they all went upstairs, Harvey and Donna to the guest bedroom, and Mike and Rachel to theirs.

"Babe are you going to do it now?" Mike sat on the bed as Rachel exited the bathroom, throwing her robe over herself.

"You seem excited. I told you, don't get your hopes up, I could just be coming down with something."

"I can't help it. This is the first bit of hope since we started trying."

"Okay, let me go and take it. It takes about three minutes to come up with a result, I'll bring it straight out."

"Sounds good." Mike spoke almost inaudibly, so they didn't wake up Rosalie or let Harvey and Donna hear anything. Rachel took the stick that was set on the dresser and disappeared back into the bathroom where she took the test. Mike was sat biting his lip as she emerged from the ensuite.

"We have to wait a moment. Mike, what happens if it's positive?"

"Then we celebrate. This is what we want! I'll be honest I thought it would take longer than this, but apparently you have quick ovaries."

"So did I. It's a bit strange doing this as a planned thing, with you."

"Is it not a good thing?"

"Yes, it's a great thing." Rachel leant down and kissed Mike, she moved, their lips still locked together and sat on his lap, bringing his hair into her grip on the back of his head. She pulled away before it got too heated with a glimmer in her eye.

"Is it done?"

"Yes. Two lines if I'm pregnant and one if I'm not."

"Okay, are you ready?" Rachel looked him dead in the eye and smiled, grabbing the test and putting it in both of their views.

"Oh my god." Rachel dropped the stick onto the bed and brought her hands over her mouth.

"Rachel, you're pregnant!" He placed his hands on her shoulders and they kissed.

"I can't believe it."

"I can, your reproductive ability is amazing. You are amazing." Rachel and Mike stood up to hold the test into the light, before confirming. He pulled him into a hug and she reciprocated, they wrapped each other's arms around and stayed in the same position for a while.

"I love you Rachel."

"I love you too, and I'm so excited!" She almost squealed as they kissed again, embracing the moment for what it was, pure.
