Alam kong charismatic si Valentine despite of his cold personality but I didn't know he was so famous among the girls.

Napapatingin lahat ng nadadaan niya ng may inggit at paghanga. May napansin pa akong mga mortal na babae na nag-eextend ng kamay sa malayo na parang gustong-gusto siyang hawakan.
They are like hungry rogues.

Tiningnan ko si Valentine mula sa likuran, I can only see his broad back. He was walking, oblivious to his surroundings.

Is he purposely ignoring this? Siguro ay sanay na rin naman siya sa atensyon. Afterall, he is the king. He is used with all the attention he's gaining.

We entered a room. Nabasa ko sa pintuan ang Admin's Office. Nakasunod na rin si Jason, matapos mai-park ang kotse.

We are greeted by woman who is obviously in her 40s. I can tell by her reaction that she was surprised to see Valentine.

" What made you come, Mr. Howard? It was so unusual of you to come at this time of the day. "sabi nung babae.

Siguro ay hindi talaga lumalabas si Valentine sa ganitong oras. He is in midnight class and there's no reason for him to come here at this hour.

Kung paano ko nalaman iyon? I had my sources.

" I came to enlist a new student at the Academy."Valentine turned to me, hold my wrist and drag me closer to him.

Muntik ng gumana ang reflexes ko para itulak siya. Hindi ako sanay na bigla na lang may humihila sa'kin.
Perong tanging tikhim lang ang lumabas sa'kin.

" This is Samson Holt. She will file her information. You can give her the papers she needed."he looked at me.

He let go of my wrist and I don't know why it feels like my wrist just warmed.

" I'll leave you for a while. I have somewhere to take care of."

" What?"sabi ko.

Iiwan niya ako?
" Saan ka pupunta?"tanong ko.

" I'll be back before you are done with your papers."he said, ignoring my question.

Nilingon niya ulit ang babae. " Mrs. Tamayo, I'll let her be in your care for now."sabi niya.

Ngumiti si Mrs. Tamayo. " Of course! No problem, Mr. Howard."

Binigyan ako ng huling tingin ni Valentine bago nilingon si Jason na tumango sa kanya.

Seconds passed they were gone in the room.

" Royal duties."nilingon ko si Mrs. Tamayo sa sinabi niya. Napansin siguro nito na matagal akong nakatingin sa pintong nilabasan ni Valentine.

Ah. I know.

" You're a witch."I stated matter of factly. I easily recognized her smell.

" Does everybody here knows that he is the king? I wonder if he is keeping that identity even from the others."

" Everybody except mortals. Naaamoy ng mga supernaturals ang mga bampira, witches also."she said. " And Mr. Howard is the heir of the Academy and everyone knows that."

" Some mortals were calling him 'highness' a while ago."

" It's their way of showing affection."sabi naman nito. " May I know what is your relation to Mr. Howard?"walang bakas ng pangungutya sa boses niya pero pakiramdam ko iniisip niya na may namamagitan sa'min ni Valentine.

" Our families are friends. Should we proceed with the papers Mrs. Tamayo?"pag-iiba ko na ng topic.

" Oh. Of course!"she said.
