Chapter 21

Sa sasakyan tahimik lang ako nung pauwi na kami sa AltaFrancia. Pilit paring inaalala ang mga nangyari.
I keep looking at my hands. Then I unconsciously touched my lip.
Did I just drink that stranger’s blood? Did I really drink his blood?!
Hindi ko inaakalang sa buong buhay ko makakainom ako ng dugo ng isang bampira at sa isang estranghero pa!

Drinking a mortal’s blood is forbidden and is punishable but drinking another vampire’s blood is on another level.

Hanggang ngayon nalalasahan ko pa ang dugo niya sa bibig ko.

Why does it taste addicting?
No. Kailangan kong kalimutan ang nangyari. Walang pwedeng makaalam sa nangyari.

It’ll be a disgrace to the whole empire. Lalo na sa pamilya ko at sa Howards.
Inaasahan nilang ikakasal ako kay Valentine at ibig sabihin lang ‘nun, only we can share each other’s blood.

So how can I tell them that I tasted another man’s blood especially if I am not yet mated?!

Some of the elder vampires say that if I drink blood from a male vampire or he to me, there’s a possibility that we’ll form a bond.

At ano ang susunod sa bond? You’ll be linked to each other and become unseparable. At kung pareho kayong hindi pa mated, it is possible that you’ll mate with each other.

Just thinking of it makes me frustrated and angry.
If only there is a way that I can take it out from my system. But now I can feel it running in my veins!

Naramdaman kong nakasunod na si Friday sa likuran ko kaya huminto ako at nilingon siya.

“ Hey..”bungad ko. He look up to me and his brow rose up in acknowledgement.

I took a breath before speaking again.
