Prologue

Buong buhay ko sinanay ako upang lumaban. 

I wear a man's armor instead of the elegant dresses na gaya ng kay ina. I was in battle instead of my room doing my hair and make-up.

I didn't get the chance to do stuffs like the other girls do.

Inukit ang puso kong malambot upang maging matigas.

I didn't experienced dating boys during my highschool years. Papalapit pa lang ako, lumalayo na sila. Mas mukha pa daw akong lalaki kesa sa kanila.

I haven't had any female friends because they were also afraid of me.

I was told I was a freak dahil hindi daw normal ang buhay ko.

Nangunguna ako sa suntukan nung highschool kaya sinong hindi matatakot sa'kin. 

Siguro kapag hindi halata ang kurba ng katawan ko, ang malaki kong dibdib, ang mahaba kong buhok ay masasabi nilang normal akong lalaki.
But I have the features of a woman, everyone expects me to act with discreet like sticking your pinky finger while drinking tea.

Instead, I drink beer from huge glasses during battle celebrations at the palace.

I was told by my parents that I will sit on the throne someday as a Duchess.
Psh. I think they mean Duke.

They have already decided to wed me off to the King of Vampires to extend the King's sovereignty.

I can't even see myself as the king's bride nor a wife.

Valentine must be mad for agreeing to that. And the last thing I want to happen is see him.

That cold-hearted man with cold-golden eyes and cold personality. He is feared by many but I don't give a damn.

Valentine can go marry anyone he likes, but not me.

In the sea of soft silks and bright colors, I wasn't there. 

He definitely should pick a queen with overflowing elegance and screams feminity.
