Chapter 12

I hear laughters. I smell something burning. Naaamoy ko rin ang maalingasaw na amoy. Maalingasaw na amoy ng tao. Pinaghalong nabubulok na katawan at amoy ng dugo.
I slowly opened my eyes.
Napasinghap ako nang bumungad sa harapan ko ang mukha ng isang babae.Her mouth is open and so as her eyes. Her body is lying awkwardly on the ground.
Her neck is scratch and blood came out of it. Wala na rin itong buhay.

She suffered a merciless death, that I'm sure.

" Susunugin na rin ba ang isang 'yan, pinuno?"
I heard a man asked. Nung luminga ako nakita kong may lalaki na nakatanaw sa'min.

" The dead one, yes. But the other one, she'll be handful. Bring her to me."another man said.

Maya-maya ay may humila sa braso ko para patayuin ako. Nagpumiglas ako. Mahigpit at marahas akong hinila ng lalaki papunta sa isa pang lalaki na nakatayo malapit sa isang bonfire.

I heard cheers. I've seen frightening faces around us. Sila ang nag-iingay at naghihiyawan.
Their teeth are sharp ang pointed. Their skin is pale as snow. Their fingernails are long ang pointed.

The others were looking at me with expression that says they will devour me whole. Nagsitayuan ang balahibo ko.

Pinilit akong paluhurin nung lalaking humila sa'kin sa harap nung lalaki na parang pinuno nila. Siya lang ang maayos ang itsura dito.

" Welcome to my world, Hazel. Simula sa gabing ito, magiging parte mo na ako. You will carry me in your soul and in your body."the leader said.

" What do you want from me?" I heard myself asked.

" I will free you from your suffering. I just found out you are very ill and of course, because I pity you I want to help you."

"  Hindi ko kailangan ng tulong mo. Go to hell, Ludicris."I spat.

Nawala ang kung anong ekspresyon sa mukha ni Ludicris at napalitan ng malamig na tingin.

" Hold her."utos nito sa malamig na boses.

Naramdaman kong may humawak sa magkabila kong braso ng mahigpit. Nagpumiglas ulit ako.
" Bitawan niyo ako!"

" After this, I will be your master. You will serve me because you will be my pet."
Ludicris said and walks slowly to me.

" Pakawalan mo kong hayop ka!" I keep struggling but the grip on my arms are too tight.

" Sshh. This won't take long." Ludicris smiled devilishly.

When he flashed a dagger, my eyes widened. My heart hammered inside my chest because of fear.
I want to get away but I can't.

" Patayin mo na lang ako! I will never serve you!"

He smirked.
" Oh dear. " he acted pitiful. Then his expression changed. " As you wish."he said.

I was panting when I saw how deadly his eyes became.

Napasigaw ako nung lumapat ang dagger niya sa pulsuhan ko. I felt the pain and my blood start gushing out.
I heard cheers again. The creatures loved what they are witnessing.

My vision blurred with tears.

Before my vision darkened, I can see Ludicris licking his dagger with my blood on it.

Some days I would wake up having the same dream. I got used to it because the next day I would forget about it.
Waking up from that dream again, I feel something heavy inside my chest.
