As quickly as Jael could close her eyes to blink, she opened them back and was no longer in her apartment. Instead she found herself standing at the gates of a large mansion built in the style of a Spanish villa. She couldn't help but look like a fish out of water as she gawked at the home. She turned to say something to Davin about how gorgeous his home was, but he was no longer by her side. He left her to go speak to one of the guards at his gate, but quickly came back.

"So what do you want to do first? Explore the city or the house?" He asked her with a sweet smile on his lips.

"Depends. Is there a bakery in the city?"

"There is actually."

"Then off to the city!"

Davin laughs at Jael's obvious want for a snack and gently grabs her hand and leads her inside of the house's gates to a car garage on the side.

"So, what would you like to take to help us on our journey?" He asks referring to his vehicle selection which ranged from a black 1967 Chevy Impala and a dark royal blue 1970s Ford Mustang, 2018 Jeep Cherokee, 2018 Kawasaki Ninja, and a midnight hued 2019 Dodge Camaro.

"A 67' Chevy! Is it named Baby?" She asks excitedly.

"What? No. It was one of my father's cars. His name is Dante. Like Dante's Inferno."

"I was making a joke. It's a Supernatural reference. Never mind. Can we take the Ninja?"

"Ahh, feeling adventurous huh?"

"I've always wanted to either own one or ride one."

"Well today is your lucky day then my lady. Grab those two helmets off the shelf over there and I'll find the keys."

Jael eagerly ran to the shelf and grabbed a couple of helmets. One black and one red.

"Alright. Let's get this date started," Davin says with an enthusiastic grin.

The two make their way out the gate on the bike and head for the city. Feeling her obvious hesitation to grip on to him, Davin professionally steadies the bike with one hand and takes the other to tighten her arms around his waist.

"Don't be afraid to hold on tight beautiful; I don't want you falling if we make a sharp turn," he tells her, "plus, I like feeling your arms around me."

She smiles and scoots up a little more to his back to close the space and fasten tighter.

Because he lives on the edge of town, the area is surrounded by mostly trees and beautiful forestation. Jael spots a lake in the distance at one point, but soon the forest begins to thin and change into houses and apartments, concrete and asphalt, department stores, parks, and businesses. Basically, everything you see in a regular city, but a little cleaner and pristine.

After about fifteen minutes of driving on a couple of  busy commercial streets in what seemed like a downtown area surrounded by towering structures, Davin makes a sharp turn causing Jael to quickly grab onto the bottom of his shirt. He rubs her hands with one of his to try and soothe and calm her unsteady nerves, and then puts it back to steer the bike.

She continues to take in her surroundings until they drive into a parking garage and park the bike. Not wanting to let go of him just yet, she continues to sit there smiling with her head against his back and listening to the hustle and bustling sounds of car horns, people talking, birds chirping, and Davin's heart beating.

"Looks like I made you a little too calm," he laughs, "You didn't fall asleep back there did you?"

"No...I just uh..." she reluctantly lets go of him finally and hands him the helmet.
