"So how did it go? Are they already planning the wedding now that you've gained the approval of the parents?" Gen asked her little sister the next day while she, Jael, Ezra, and Lucia sat at a table in a quaint restaurant for brunch.

"Uh what?" Jael says befuddled.

"How do you know about Davin?" Lucia asks Gen.

"Davin? I thought it was Damien?" Ez asks now equally as confused.

"I'm talking about Damien, her boss. I've met the guy a few times I've been up to Jael's job and seen the way he looks at her. He clearly admires her and lusts after her. You can't tell me nothing has never happened between the two of them," Gen says smiling deviously.

"Lust??" I don't know. I don't like the guy. Something is off about him and you can tell. Honestly, now is as good as any time to stop working for him sis. It's not like you plan on working for him, forever right?" Ezra says to Jael while taking a sip of his hazelnut roasted dark coffee and crossing his arms on the table defensively.

The ironic part to Jael was the fact that Ezra could sense that Damien was trouble. Her little brother has never even spoken to him. He wasn't even conscious and never knew about what happened that night. Yet, Ezra could still get a shady reading from him. But it's not like she can just stop working for him. Not yet anyway.

"I make good money there. Plus, my coworkers are cool people. Damien is only annoying every once in a while. Why would I leave a job like that?"

"I'm just worried about you Jael. Watch your back around him is all."

"Well I like him. They can give me cute little blasian nieces and nephews all they want!" Gen says laughing.

"Girl you just like the way he looks. You don't know much about him, though do you?" Lucia says.

"So what? Now, Jay, what happened?"

"Well, their mother is gorgeous. She doesn't look that old and her fashion sense is A1. She is a no-nonsense type of woman and is fierce when it comes to her children. She tried to be snappy and rude because she is overprotective of her adult sons, but we all know I wasn't going for that. By the end of the day she loved me though. I tamed the beast. Daisy Mori is cool as hell and I'm supposed to be hanging out with her soon. And you know Hale? The driver guy you met that first time you came up to the office?"

"Yeah the sexy one? I almost tried to shoot my shot with him."

"Puh-lease. You have no basketball skill Gen, you would've lost that game," Lucia says teasing her which caused them all to laugh.

"Well I think Hale and Daisy hit it off. Don't be surprised if you see the two of them on E! News. Anyway, Mr. Mori. Now, he can get it! That's one sexy distinguished man," Jael says smiling.

"Isn't he basically a hundred years old?" Ez says exaggerating.

A hundred? Try a little more than that Ez.

"He's not that old. He's fine is what I do know though, and if he wants a sugar baby, I'm right here ready and willing!"

"I don't think so Jael," Ezra says sternly like he is someone's father, which makes them all laugh again.

Jael continues to tell her siblings and friend about her encounter with the Mori family while they continue to enjoy the rest of their delectable brunch and excellent company.
