The day came when Jael would have to meet Mr. and Mrs. Mori and she was beyond anxious. It wasn't like she was dating either of their sons so she shouldn't be as scared as she is, but she has done dirty things with the both of them and knew her social anxiety would prevail.

What should she even wear for something like this? She had to go into the office so it can't be too laid back, but she was also going to be doing an extended amount of walking so it needed to be comfortable enough

What should she even wear for something like this? She had to go into the office so it can't be too laid back, but she was also going to be doing an extended amount of walking so it needed to be comfortable enough. The night before Jael decided to FaceTime her older sister Gen to see if she could help her.

"Do you not have a uniform code for work? Like business attire?" Gen asked when she was told the predicament.

"Only when I go into the office. However, this isn't official office hours, so I don't have a specific way of dressing to abide by."

"Is the mother fashionable? You're going to want to wear something that she'll approve."

"You're right. I think she is pretty fashionable. I mean she would have to be. Her family is worth millions. It's not like she's gonna walk around in sweats."

Jael sighed heavily.

Thirty minutes of throwing random articles of clothes onto the bed and huffing and puffing out of frustration, she finally settled on an outfit. She picked out a tan envelope style skirt, a purple button-down blouse that opened in the back with silver studs on the collar, a pair of comfortable but cute black strappy sandals, and some medium sized silver pearls in her ears. The night before, she braided her hair down so she could wear her shoulder length parted, 4A wavy natural wig to round out the completed look.

"You'll look cute little sis. You sure you aren't just dressing up for those Mori twins?" Gen says teasing her.

"Girl stop. They may be good looking but one of them is my boss and the other is his brother and that would be unprofessional."

LOL, "unprofessional", too late for that.

"Says who? You don't work for the brother."

"No not directly. However, they both have a hand in Mori Industries which means he's technically one of my bosses too. I just work under a specific one."

"You can't tell me you haven't thought about it. I mean sometimes you work closely with Damien Mori, right? Nothing has ever happened between you two?" Gen asks suspiciously.

"I mean sure, there has been flirty banter, but nothing is going to happen. It's just for fun."

LOL, another lie.

"Well he must apparently be sweet on you to be able to entrust you with his mother."

"Gen if you don't cut it out. Could it not just be that I am a trusted employee?"

"Would you just trust an employee with your mother? You aren't even his assistant and he doesn't even trust his assistant with her. Girl he likes you. Face it, you two will be having some little blasian babies."
