By the time Jael got into her car and drove out of the parking garage connected to the Mori Industries building, the raging storm that had been going on during her fight with Damien was still raging on. Lightning was still threatening to light up the sky with its angry bolts, thunder still booming its way through the streets like it was a heavy metal rock concert, wind and rain still blowing through and soaking things and people trying to escape the sudden onset of the storm.

Before she left the broken office building, Jael called Daisy to come and retrieve her older brother. She had left him back in the office where he was still lying dormant. Almost as if he were in a peaceful coma. He was just there. Nonviolent. Almost angelic. She could have honestly sat there for an extended amount of time watching Damien's new heart pump life into his heavy and full of vitality frame.

Damien was finally broken. He was no longer the threatening intimidating man he once was. He was now just like any other person. Except, he was bloody, had a large gash in his chest, and passed out from what Jael was able to achieve.

"You really did a number on him huh?" Daisy had said when she finally came to obtain her brother. She was speaking on the phone to Jael and trying to avoid the countless broken shards of glass in the floor.

"He deserved it. Damien's reign of control was going on for far too long."

"I can't believe you were really able to do it. You really turned him into a human. He's alive!"

"And broke," Jael laughed, "Damien won't be a threat to anyone anymore. He's going to have to start all over again. In an honest way this time though. Any slip ups or evil he tries to do will cost him. I'll be keeping tabs on him and he'll have to continually check in with me or one of you guys to make sure he's on a straight path. We'll basically be his parole officers."

"Hmm, I like the idea of that. Although, I'm not gonna lie, I'm surprised you didn't go against my parent's wishes and just kill him or just send him to Hell."

Jael paused, surprised to hear Daisy even say that. She was, after all, talking about her older brother. The thought did cross her mind. It's not like their parents would be able to do anything if their son ceased to exist or if she had dropped him off at the gates of Hell. Jael didn't have to do as they asked.

"Don't look at me like that," Daisy said sensing the look Jael was giving her though the phone, "Damien may be my older brother, but this was long overdue. Someone needed to handle him. Our family just couldn't find the nerve to do it because he's exactly that, family. But it's been a really long time since he was ok. I don't think he's been ok since the twins."

"Yeah I know. I felt like simply killing him would be too easy. Don't get me wrong, I contemplated, however, there would be no atoning for his sins if I had just done that. I also can't send him to Hell. I could deliver him but remember we don't have the ability to send anyone there. We just deliver souls there. Davin and I felt like if I could succeed in giving him life that he would suffer more this way.

But it's not only about that. Deep down, I honestly wanted to give him another chance. I know he used to be a good person but lost his way. Power, money, and greed got to him and started to control and drive him. I gave Damien a second chance, but it won't be without hard work and suffering through it."

"You truly are a Lumiere aren't you," Daisy says to Jael while lifting Damien to his feet.

"I truly am."
