Leaving the shop after their lunch with their full bellies, Jael and Davin waved goodbye to Selease and Kai.

"So what do you want to see next?" Davin asked.

With calming and chill melodies playing in her head as if she were in a movie, making her at peace, Jael took Davin's hand and told him, "Let's just walk. We'll find things that you can point out along the way."

He smiles at her, "You ok?"

She smiles sincerely, "I'm perfect."

The two hand in hand head on their way further into the city; Jael taking in all the sites as they go. Every now and then Davin would point something out and explain the history to her. She wasn't exactly paying attention to his words but rather the excitement he got from showing an outsider his home, and his deep soothing voice and warm hand in hers. They would occasionally stop to greet someone he knew and he would proudly introduce her to them with a grin on his face like he was happy to introduce to them the intelligent and beautiful woman by his side.

"You like history, huh?" She asks.

"Well, I am kinda old and I have a pretty solid memory, so I like to know various interesting facts about our history here before I was born. And I like to remember the events that have happened thereafter."

"I thought you weren't old?" She says jokingly.

"Girl, you know what I mean," he says sucking his teeth.

They both chuckle and continue walking.

"I've never been that great in history class. Well, I take that back, I really enjoy minority history. And I enjoy learning about modern history. Not saying all the other histories aren't important to know, but I think because I'm a minority and because I am alive in more modern times I feel more attached to it. You know?" Jael tells him.

"Yeah I understand. You have any other favorite subjects?"

"Art was always enjoyable for me. English wasn't so bad. I'm not perfect at it, but I'm not too shabby. Language classes and almost any classes dealing with other cultures are my favorite too. And Sociology has always been an interest to me. I'm not that fond of people, but I do like to learn about them."

"So, you just like school, basically."

"No. I've always hated school."

They laugh again.

"So, what about you? Anything other than history?"

"Like you, I loved taking languages. I'm fluent in Korean, Japanese, and of course English, but I'm not far from being fluent in conversational French. I think the next language I want to study is Spanish. I wish to be fluent in all of the love languages," he says wiggling his eyebrow towards me, "I've also always loved music class. My parents, being the stereotypical Asians, made us learn and perfect different instruments. I love the violin, drums, and surprisingly the ukulele."

"Violin and ukulele? You really are full of surprises aren't you?"

"You have no idea. I'll play them for you one day. How's that sound?"

"Amazing."

After walking in a comfortable silence for about another ten minutes, she began hearing music coming from a small, late 90s to early 2000s design inspired music store.

"I recognize that song," she told him.

He stood in silence for a second as if to figure out the song as well.

"Pour Up."

"Dean and Zico!" She said excitedly, "Let's go in there!"

Clutching his hand excitedly, she pulled Davin into the music store that seemed to have a never ending vast selection and different individualized listening stations. There was even a little coffee and tea cafe inside as well. In one corner of the store, Jael recognized that someone was listening to the song "Chunky" by Bruno Mars.

"Ugh I love this song too! Dance with me!" Jael said twirling around and dancing to the soulful upbeat music.

"What is going on with you?" He says laughing and admiring her free spirit.

"I don't know! I'm just happy. Keep me happy by dancing with me! Please?"

Davin gives in to her good energy and moves around the store with her to the beat of the music, singing to the tune as well.

He couldn't describe of understand the feeling that was starting to pulse through his body, but it was strong and chaotic. It seemed to overtake every vein in him and pumped him with happiness. He's never felt so happy in his life, and as he stopped to catch his breath, the song changed to "Crew" by GoldLink.

Jael continued to sing while in her pleasant mood, and jam to the music. Exclaiming as she went that this was another song she loved. In that moment Davin realized something. Jael was the one causing the good energy that flowed through him.

Literally.

Her body was emitting energy that was seeping from her pores in the form of what looked like a glowing white light surrounding her like a silhouette in the dark. He stared at her puzzled but in awe.

"So this is what it looks like. It's finally manifesting. It's beautiful. She's beautiful," he thought to himself.

The overpowering energy that was taking over him caused Davin to walk up to Jael in a trance-like state, and gently take her face in his hands and kiss her. The sudden kiss took her by surprise, but she soon reciprocated.

Jael grabbed onto both of his wrists while he still held her face. There was no lust in it, just the soft innocence of a first kiss. It was the sweetest kiss that had ever been bestowed upon her lips and she couldn't help but smile while "Apple Cherry" by NAO played in the background of the shop.

Whew, ok, so chapter 6 was pretty long and I didn't realize it. I didn't want to overwhelm you guys with so much, but I couldn't write it any shorter (well, I mean I guess I could've) and do their date justice. But guess what?! It's not over!
