I can't tell you the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.-Ed Sheeran

Here I am looking through my closet.

Not knowing what to wear for Shawn's party is kind of a problem.

I have no pretty top and no skirts whatsoever.

There is only one dress that I think might be okay for this event. I try it on, and it fits perfectly. It was my only dress that I had. I had no other choice but to put it on and go with it.

I add a little bit of touches to my hair and then take a piece of it and clip it onto the side of my head. I smile in the mirror and then look down at my light blue dress that stops mid-thigh. It's tight to my waist and then runs fluffy all the way down, but not too fluffy.

"Thank you Madison so much!" I say as I get out of the car. "You're a life saver." I smile and close the door behind me blowing her a kiss.

"Anytime Rose. Have fun!" She yells out the window as I start walking towards Shawn's house. I turn around and smile, giving her a thumbs up.

Let's just hope for the best. I sigh.

I walk to the front door where music is busting from and fix myself quickly. I take a deep breath and hold my hand up high ready to knock. Surprisingly the door swings open by itself. I furrow my eyebrows as a cute Shawn appears in front of it.

"I know! I am going to see if she's-" He yells at someone while opening the door but stops once he sees me. "Oh! You are here!" He raises his eyebrows. "I was just about to see if you were coming, but here you are." He talks really fast then stops as he examines my appearance. His eyes travel from the bottom to top finally reaching my eyes.

I look down shyly. "Am I late?"

He shakes his head multiple times. "No, not at all." He then stretches his hand at the back of his head in an uncomfortable way. "Um. You look... You-u look... amazing." Shawn finally says as I am feeling self conscious about my body and my appearance. Although I was expecting other words coming out of his mouth, I just let it go.

"Thank you Shawn." I smile kindly.

He opens the door wider and lets me come inside as I look around me. There are so many people that it seems almost impossible for them all to fit in his house.

Okay I'm probably exaggerating, but there were a lot. I didn't know Shawn has that many friends.

I walk a little bit and feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head just to see Shawn smiling at me.

"You want something to drink?" He yells over the loud music as he got closer to my ear so I can hear him. I smile and nod my head. He takes my hand and starts walking through the crowd heading to the kitchen. Just the second our hands touched my stomach fills with butterflies.

"Thank you." I say as he hands me a Pepsi can and he smiles. It's much quieter in the kitchen and all the loud noises and crowded people are gone.

"Bro!" I hear someone scream in excitement while entering the kitchen, it's a tall boy that was wearing a bandanna around his head. Eventually after him followed about seven boys coming in and greeting Shawn with their hand shakes and other boy's gestures. I just stand there awkward and just look at everyone making their way in a line and talking.

"Yo, who's this ?" One of them asks pointing at me.

"Oh...um." Shawn scratched the back of his head. "Rose this is Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier, Aaron Carpenter, Matt Espinosa, Taylor Caniff, Carter Reynolds, Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky." Shawn points at every single guy, introducing them to me.
