Of course a good party always starts with good friends beside you. Those who make you laugh till your stomach hurts, those who give you tight hugs that you never want to let go of, and those who can always make you feel better no matter the situation.

Now here I am playing go fish with Cameron, Jack Gilinsky, and Mahogany as all the others are occupied with something else. After Shawn opened all of his presents we all kind of drifted off to different activities.

"HA! Go fish!" Screams Mahogany in Cameron's face.

"Man. I'm tired of this game." Cameron groans and throws all of the cards on the ground.

"Says the one who is losing." I mumble under my breath loud enough for them to hear and Mahagony starts giggling.

"Yeah, let's play something else. Like with everyone else not just small groups." Jack puts his cards down too, then Mahagony and I do the same.

"Well, let's see. " She stands up on her feet and folds her arms over her chest thinking of something. "We have about six girls and about ten guys! Yeah, that works!" She claps her hands in excitement and I stand on my feet as she gathers everyone.

"What are we playing?" I touch her shoulder.

"Truth or Dare." She grins at me twirling one of her curls.

Oh dear.

...

"Truth or dare?" Is the question that Hayes gets since it's his turn.

His eyes sparkle. "Dare."

"Go tell Aaliyah you have a crush on her." Cameron jumps in.

"Hey!" A voice from the other side of the circle exclaims. "That's my sister!" Shawn furrows his eyebrows. I smile widely; he cares so much about his sister. I look over at Hayes and see his frozen expression.

"But- I. No. She... A-Aaliyah. How-already. No. Can tell-no-sorry." Mumbles is all we heard from him and again, his facial expression cannot be described.

"Hayes?" Jack touches his shoulder. "You okay there bud?"

Silence.

"Oh my- I know what is it is!" Screams Mahogany and everybody turns their heads to see a curly head popping up and down.

I raise my eyebrow and look at Shawn who shrugs.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, our dear Hayes Greir already, -one more time to make myself clear- already has a crush on Aaliyah!" A big smile appears on her face full of cute freckles and the room explodes in Aw's. Apparently Hayes's face starts glowing all red and the little guy has nothing to do but protest against the simple fact that seems to be true.

"What? Huh! Come on guys. That's not true!" He throws his hands in the air and the whole living room explodes into laugher as everyone is sitting on the ground in a big circle.

"Says the one who's face looks like a tomato!" His brother, Nash, stretches his back and starts laughing among everyone else.

"No! I really don't have a crush on her! What are you guys talking aboug?"

"Then do it lil bro! You need to do the dare." Nash smiles genuinely.

"Hey. Just be careful, okay? Don't forget that that's my sister and if anything happens...you already know who gets kicked in the balls." Shawn pats his back and Hayes lazily nods his head while standing up from the floor and moving his body towards the stairs that lead to where Aaliyah is. She's in her room with my sister and these other two girls their age. Oh this is gonna be interesting.
