Roses, Daisies, and a Confused Child.

Wondering in the garden once more, the child skipped down the complicated path.

He came across a beautiful daisy, it was kind and gentle as it danced in the wind. The child picked it very carefully, making sure he didn't accidentally kill it.

The child kept the daisy. Though it was just a flower, he told it everything, since he had no one else to tell. The child felt safe with this daisy, he took it everywhere in his small pot.

He would walk through the garden everyday, going farther and farther each day. One day, the child came across something new.

A Red Rose

The child wanted this rose, he reached for it, and grabbed it.

The child pulled back quickly, the rose had many many thorns. He grabbed his daisy and ran away.

Everyday, this child would continue to try and grab the rose. The child kept getting hurt, yet still tried.

One day the child found a spot in this rose where it didn't hurt, the child dropped the daisy and ran off with the rose.

Leaving the daisy to wither.

And the rose to hurt the child.
