Chapter 15-The Mask Party Part 1

October 1st is here, and everyone at school was excited about an upcoming Halloween party called The Masked Party and the Student Council Prep. Are preparing for the event since they are the one in change "Hey Erza there is a lot of more paper for this party is it 'really' that great" Natsu asked the red-haired vice Prep. "From what I've heard from the upperclassman it 'actually' a big hit" she replied "Not only it's located at our school but student others school come as well" Levy added "Really?" Natsu questioned, and Lucy spoke up "Wow that sounds really, but I thought the event was only for FTHS" she asked as another voice from the sliding door "Well it originally was, but our event is so popular that others school became either jealous or fascinated by our work" said the surprising principle "Miss. Vermilion" all said to the small blonde hair girl. "Good evening my students I see your preparing for our Halloween party" Mavis proclaimed. "Yeah or I'm 'really' trying to, the girls seem to be handling things quite well without me" Natsu stated "Now that is not true" Levy protest "You allowed to events to happened" Erza added as Natsu signed. "Yeah because the girls in the school were begging me to have the event since the beginning of the month those crazy chicks followed me around the school just to make sure I got permission from Mavis" Natsu stated "Yeah we know, we were all there" Lucy added as she sweat-dropped. "But still they didn't have to chase you around like that, I've would have given you the permission anyway," Mavis said. "That's wasn't the problem Mavis... I mean... Principle Vermilion the girls here see me as untrustworthy. They thought I throw the paper away" Natsu replied "Why would they think that" Lucy asked "Well...you see I 'kind of' mention that a Marked Party was weird in front of them, boy what a mistake that was" Natsu answered as the girls gasped. "So you think is no fun Natsu," Levy said "I didn't say it wasn't fun I said it was weird having a party where you have to wear a mask to get in the place where it's holding" he protests while resting his head on his arm. "It's may be weird and silly, but that's the fun" Mavis smiled along then a sliding door opened revealing the secretary Gray "Hey Natsu some girls want to see you" the dark hair stated as three girls walked with grins on their face. "What can I do for you girls," Natsu asked "Well as you know the Halloween Party is coming and we are here to make sure that everything is going according to plan," said the girl in the middle. "So Mr. SCP you better...." she froze when she noticed Mavis stepping next to him. "Principle Vermilion I didn't see you there" the girl stated "I was standing here the whole time, Sherry" Mavis mentioned. "Oh right well anyway with the principle here this should make easy for us" Sherry stated "Oh how is that if I might ask" Mavis added as Sherry pointed to the pink hair boy "I believe that this boy will not allow the event to take place. Therefore, there is a chance that the party might cancel" Mavis heard disbelief from the girls "Why did that happen? Is it because he said it was weird Sherry just because you hear a fact about something doesn't make a false statement" Mavis protested "well no but..." Sherry was interrupted by the redhead "What fact is that? Natsu is saying that it was weird" Erza stated and Sherry didn't deny it. Natsu sighed and walked up to the girls "Looks just I say it weird doesn't mean I'm going to cancel the party" Natsu stated as Sherry was having trouble believing him "Well we will see about that" Sherry stated as she and the two others walked away and slammed the sliding door "What is her problem?" Natsu questioned as she dismissed it and went back to his work "So you're going to ignore them?" Gray asked "Why not? They are not doing anything wrong besides Mavis, and I discussed this event about a month ago we've had the permission for a while now" Natsu replied as Mavis smiled.

"Seriously" Gray said "Yeah but those girls don't know and they shouldn't know about this" Mavis replied "Sherry and her girls the 'how should I put this' the party girls" all sweat-dropped "You don't say" Gray said "But still they shouldn't gain up on Natsu like just because of what he said" Lucy stated "Don't worry about that Lucy I'm used to the girls not trusting me" Natsu replied "Well you know not all girl mistrust you" Levy stated "Yeah I wasn't talking you guys I was talking about..." Natsu stopped his sentence by Erza by saying "Yes we know and I also know the student in school can be unfair sometimes." They was a little bit of silents until Natsu break the silent "Well this paper aren't going to signed themselves I think we should get back to work" Natsu said "if by 'We' you mean Me,Erza,Levy and Lucy right" Gray pointed out "Give me some slack we'll you, I've a papers building up on my desk everyone 10 minutes and my brains hurts for looking at them" Natsu stated as Gray sweat-dropped "I can see but still man you 'practically' give us hat stack to work with here" as the dark hair stated "Yeah because I have no idea what the hell I'm doing and that why I need your help." Gray was surprised by Natsu statement "Did you forget I was forced into all of this. It started out as a joke but then it got serious" Natsu said as Gray sweat-dropped even more "Oh right good point." Gray decided to help Natsu out with the buildings of paper on his desk and Erza, Levy and Lucy were doing their jobs. While looking through the paper something caught Natsu's eye "What is this?" Natsu something on the paper saying 'Mask Party invoice benefits by Sayla KnightRose of Tartaros Academy' "Hey Gray look at this" Natsu show the paper to Gray "invoices benefits but isn't our school the one paying for the event" he stated "No not really Tartaros was always the one paying for the party" said a strange voice coming from the slide door. "The building were they have the events always takes place is never cheap" all eyes came a girl with purple and black highlights hair "I know you Violet Rose" Natsu pointed out "Yeah too make a long story short the last student council president wanted to make Fairy Tail a huge success so she got a little greedy and search for the most expensive place they could find and then that how the Masked Party started for every Halloween" Violet stated as she looked at Natsu "So can you guess what happens next" Lucy was going to say something but then Natsu interpreted her "The student council greed got the best of her and realize she couldn't afford what she was looking for and decided to make a deal with the rich school and we now in there debts every year" Violet was little shock but wasn't surprised and smiled. "That's a good guess and your right but sadly the girls are too embarrassed to say that we have to borrow money from other school" Violet stated "Wait you said Tartaros right" Lucy spoke up as Violet nodded her head "I've heard the school are very strict with their rules and the Student Council President is such a bitc....I mean isn't very nice person" Lucy stated "I'm not surprise that some rich people are like that" Levy added. "but I don't why they decided to use their 'own' money for a school that has a lower rank then them" Lucy asked "Well it's not the school they paying it's the Party itself they could care what happens to others school" Violet stated "That's true but that still doesn't explain why they paid for it" Erza stated as they thought about it until Natsu spoke "Hey Violet you said that the Previous SCP made a deal with them right" Violet nodded her head "Do you know what 'deal' that was?" he questioned "Well all I can say is that if Tartaros paid for the event each years they get 25% of our budget and also some of our supplies" Violet answered "Supplies?" such as school supplies" Gray asked "Yeah they don't take much which I guess is a good I've never really understood myself when they have more stuff then us" Violet replied.
