Chapter 13-Childhood Friend

It's was Friday Night, and Natsu was meeting Clara on the football field she and confessed her love to him, but of course Natsu rejected her and also explains to Clara why he doesn't want to go out with her and little did they know that they watched from a distance by the blonde hair supermodel. "Natsu" she whispered his name in a lovely and kind way and then Lucy noticed Clara and Natsu were shaking hands and went their separate ways. "It looks likes he didn't accept her love but accepted her friendship," Lucy said to herself thinking no one was around but little did she know someone else was watching them. "That's Natsu for you" Lucy heard a voice next to her without realizing that a girl was there "I wonder if he still thinks of me" the girl stated as Lucy saw a female with short white hair and blue eyes "Who are you?" the blonde asked "I'm Lisanna...Lisanna Stress" Lucy was surprised "Your Lisanna," Lucy said. "Yes and I realized right away Your Lucy Star of Starlight Magazine I've heard all about you and I'd read all your article, I'm such a big fan" Lisanna smile and to Lucy surprised reaction from Lisanna she didn't seem like a bad person. "Thanks, it's nice to meet you too Lisanna," said Lucy with a frown on her face. "The girl who broke his heart" reaction from Lisanna was questionable as Lucy gazed at Natsu's direction, watching him walk away "You know he told me what happened and I would like to hear from your side of the story" Lucy asked as Lisanna was staring at the blonde as to wait she wants to know. Lisanna was a little shocked and confused "My side...of what story" stated "I want to know the reason why you left Natsu and broke his heart" Lucy replied as Lisanna's widened "What... What did he tell you?" she questioned. The Blonde stared that the bleach-hair girl "When...he told me that you two were a happy couple in middle school, he even told me that you confessed your love to him with a letter" Lucy giggled as Lisanna blushed. "Oh yeah, that was a good time" the bleach-hair girl smiled, and Lucy noticed that your eyes were not lying and the expression on Lisanna was priceless "He's mine..." She started crying "My Best Friend" Lucy felt pity for those tears "You care for him I can see it in your eyes" Lucy looked at Lisanna in the eyes. "Listen I know you, and I just met, and I can already tell that you not lying to me" Lucy replied "But still I want to know.." something was ringing inside Lisanna pocket "Oh Sorry" she pulled out her phone and saw someone was messaging her saying 'did you tell him yet?' Lisanna gripped her phone as she frowned at the message and quickly replied saying 'No not yet but I will, I promise I'll make things right with us' she hit send and slip her phone in her pocket and then there was an awkward silence. Lisanna stared at the window until Lucy said her name "Are you alright" Lucy asked. "Yeah I'm fine" Lisanna stuttered a little "Tell me Lucy how do you know Natsu" Lisanna asked as Lucy blinked "You talk as if you were close to him" Lisanna said "Well to make a long story short he invited to student council as General Clark" Lucy replied "Student Council?" Lisanna questioned "Oh yeah Natsu is the Student Council President in this school, and since I've always chased by people he thought it would be the safe place for me with Erza as my bodyguard" Lucy replied when she noticed the shocking expression on Lisanna face. "Natsu is the SCP for an all-girl school that became coed" She yelled in surprise and Lucy sweat-dropped. "Yeah he had that same look on his face that you have right now," she said "I see that is surprising" Lisanna replied as she rolled her fingers in her hand "But that doesn't matter right now I need to talk to him about something important. Something I've always wanted to tell him but I never could" Lisanna tears started building up "I've been too afraid of his reaction" she stated as Lucy was worried for the bleach-hair girl " You see Lucy, I have a secret."

Lisanna wanted to tell Lucy this secret that has but didn't anyone yet "A Secret?" Lucy questioned, "Yes and because of that I had to leave town, I wanted to tell Natsu the truth but I couldn't not after how my 'own' parents treated me I told them they just..." Lisanna froze her sentence and then realizing she was talking to a complete stranger "I'm sorry I just met you and I was about to tell you my life story" Lisanna protest as Lucy waved her hand in front of her "No..No don't feel sorry....I'm the one asked for it...sort of...I just wanted to know why you leave Natsu behind and..." Lucy then started tearing up and cover her mouth to what she just said. Lisanna noticed the emotional tension from the blonde and was about to say something until she heard a familiar voice. "Lisanna" is what the bleach-hair said as she turned her head and said the childhood friend. "Natsu" there was awkward silents between them until Lucy broke the ice, "I think I should go" the blonde stated while walking past Lisanna and stared at Natsu "I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay," Lucy told him while nodding his head in agreement and then Lucy walked off. Lisanna was nervous; she didn't expect to her ex-boyfriend so soon "Natsu I....I missed you" she stuttered as Natsu remained silent while Lisanna nervousness was getting to her "I know you angry and you probably want answers.." She stopped when yelled saying "You think" the girl flinched. Natsu anger rose but died down when he noticed the scared expression on Lisanna face and took a deep breath "I'm sorry." Lisanna saw the guilt on him "No no you have all right to be angry after I betrayed you" she stated as Natsu narrowed his eyes in her belief. "But there is something important I've wanted to tell you for a long time and...the reason why I left" her words caught Natsu attention. Lisanna was tense, scared and worried "The truth is Natsu is that I..." she didn't finish as voice yelled out saying "Lisanna wait" Natsu heard a female voice behind him and a girl with black short hair with light blue highlights wearing a purple tank top, white skirt and brown shoes "Who are you?" Natsu asked "My name is Christina and I'm...." she froze as she walked towards Lisanna and grabbed her hand "I'm Lisanna's Girlfriend" Cristina stated as Natsu was shocked to her replied and then smiled "I see that's what that was." The two girls were surprised and confused to that smile on his lips "Now I understand" he looked up at both of them "So you want to tell me your story or what" Natsu said as Lisanna and Cristina were shocked to his reaction especially Lisanna. "I thought..." Cristina spoke, but Natsu stopped her "You thought that I wouldn't accept you. Please, I could care less about this kind of relationship" he led against the wall and stared at them "So tell me all the details and when did this happen" Natsu said. Lisanna couldn't believe it her best friend Natsu wanted to know about her relationship with Christina but also see saddest in his eyes, and she saw he was hurt. Lisanna knows Natsu too well to let this bother him she sat down on the floor leaning her back next to where Natsu was standing as Cristina join her. "So Lisanna how long have you've been a lesbian?" he asked "Well forever I guess I've become bisexual since the beginning of middle school started" that shocked the pink-hair boy, and the bleach hair girl noticed. "I know it was a long time ago, but that is when I started looking at girls" Lisanna smiled but then frowned when she remember who she was telling the story to and clear her throat. Lisanna continued to tell Natsu about her past, becoming a bisexual and telling her parents about her liking girl but they turned her away, and the story was getting more interesting when Lisanna talked about how she met Christina and how to soften her broken heart from her parent's rejection. She even told her sibling Mirajane and Elfman about her sexuality, and they both accept it but still feel awkward about it. "So you see Natsu my 'own' parents turned me away, and my sister Mirajane did everything she can to take care of my brother and me, we were happy and they accepted Cristina" Lisanna smiled.
