The pair make it to the kingdom after half a day of walking, once they reach the gates they are stopped by knights holding spears, guarding the kingdom, Nikko tries to convince the knights that he means no harm and so does Alice but to no avail. With a stroke of luck though, one seemingly high-ranking knight stops the knight's blocking Nikko and Alice and let's them in, at the same time they both eye down the knight who let them in and notice he is of a high rank and quickly turns their head away, slightly shaking. The knight leads them into the castle to have them greet the king and queen, but Nikko and Alice stay weary and close to each other, not yet fully trusting this kingdom. The trio enter a grand hall and walk forward, greeting the king and queen, Nikko full of confidence and Alice worried something might happen, they all shake hands and start talking.
???: No need to introduce yourself, Nikko I already know plenty about you, from a word with Alice's kingdom, they have told me everything about the prophecy oh and please excuse me my name is, King Rhodes
Nikko: uuh nice to meet you, King Rhodes but that raises a question...why didn't Alice know my name at first sight, she did say she couldn't recognize me from the armor and I didn't even have a helmet on but you...
King Rhodes: ah about that, I was able to contact The lord through trial and error but when he came through he showed me you, Nikko and told me about how you would look...mind you The lord likes making things complicated for unknown reasons, hence why Alice couldn't recognize you, that may be why.
Alice: Er actually...Nikko's hair was messed up soo...I didn't recognize him...I'm sorry, I was never good at remembering people's faces either especially from visions
King Rhodes: oh, then that clears that up, I shall introduce you to my lovely wife, Queen Elaina, she is quite the caring soul and never means of any harm, the kingdom still stands because of her kindness
Queen Elaina: greetings to you both, I wouldn't want to keep the Fated one for too long so let's get to the point, Fated one your first task is to travel to a castle not very far east from here and either tame or slay two dragons on either side of the castle, one resides on an icy mountain and the other resides on a volcano
Nikko: then I won't waste my time I'll take my leave now
Alice: wait shouldn't you get help first? Th-these are dragons mind you...
Nikko: I don't need it, besides this is my trial and mine alone
Queens Elaina: ohh Alice dear~ don't worry, this is the fated one after all, and this is HIS trial as well
Alice: u-um...it would make it safer if you...sent him help too right?...
Queen Elaina: indeed it would, but again this is his trial and our help would most likely get in his way
Nikko: honestly yeah, whenever anyone tries to help me they just get in the way and in some cases, put themselves in more danger than me, trust me Alice I know what I'm doing
Alice: oh...
Nikko: no no, it's okay please don't worry! I respect that you wanted to protect me so I thank you for it
Alice: o-okay then, but please do not do anything reckless...or at least, too reckless
King Rhodes: he will be fine just trust him Alice, he was chosen by The Lord after all
Alice: a-ok, I understand I will try to not worry anymore
Nikko: well I guess I'll be going now
