Once Nikko and Alice wake up, Nikko takes no time putting on his armor and preparing to go to Alice's kingdom, and then they both walk to the front gates of the kingdom, instantly being greeted by the three dragons and the king and queen. Alice and Nikko hug and then Nikko mounts onto Blizardus and he starts flying to Alice's kingdom to defeat whatever force is in control of it.
Blizardus: I shall stay with you and assist you, the force residing in this castle is far to dangerous
Nikko: No, this is my trial and mine alone I can't have any assistance, you go back to the kingdom and defend there, no questions
Blizardus: ....I see...I will oblige fated one but you make sure you come back to us, especially Alice she would be heartbroken
Nikko: you think I don't know that? Don't worry I will come back you can trust me
A few hours pass, then soon Niko arrives at Alice's kingdom, the top too almost all the way to the bottom of the castle is enshrouded in a dark magic and thorns so Nikko is dropped off at the very bottom. After Nikko and Blizardus say goodbye, Blizardus flies back to the kingdom and Nikko walks inside of Alice's kingdom, drawing his sword as he enters the front gates. He quickly notices the shear amount of dark magic just inside the grand hall of the front entrance and the amount of grunts, skeletons, beasts of all sorts, and dark spawns roaming around, then he slowly sneaks off into one hallway trying to avoid a big battle. As Nikko approaches the library he quickly climbs ladders and stairs to the top as his only objective is finishing off whatever is in control of the kingdom, but the force he is after has sensed Nikko and every beasts quickly is alerted and scatters to find Nikko. He jumps into a nearby room that seems almost as a room someone must have lived in, with many books and a diary, he approaches the diary and opens it, then starts reading it while hiding behind a shelf. The diary is from the king of this kingdom itself as it reads "The diary of King Rhein, I sense a dark evil approaching, I am writing this diary for whatever traveler comes across this so my kingdom's legacy still lives on. I am the king of Arenthis, my kingdom is the biggest of all in all the land, yet I sense an evil and menacing presence arriving. I am waiting patiently for this fated one spoken by the relic of god, but I see no hope arriving and I have ordered my knights to escort my brothers daughter, Alice to a location given by God in hopes she will find the fated one."
Nikko decides to read the rest later and then continues on out of the room and to his left, back into the grand hall on the 2nd floor. He sneaks around with his shield up and sword in hand keeping a keen sense on his surroundings, stopping when and enemy of any kind walks near him, but as he approaches another set of stairs he hears big footsteps reminiscent of the minotaur he fought but...bigger. The minotaur stands right above Nikko on a set of stairs, then stops and sniffs around knowing, Nikko is there, then it jumps down in front of Nikko facing away from him. This minotaur is bigger with a dark aura surrounding it and spikes of some dark magic growing all over its body and then...slowly...it turns around revealing its red glowing eyes and even more of a menacing appearance, then quickly it charges into the wall Nikko is crouching by but Nikko rolls away in time and slashes its legs and knees. The minotaur makes even more noise and roars in pain attracting the many foes in the castle to its area, wanting less trouble, Nikko stabs and slashes the minotaur whilst dodging its attacks and before it can charge at Nikko again he drives his blade through the minotaurs skull killing it. Foe's from all kinds start charging into the room some throwing dark magic at Nikko and others shooting arrows at him, but Nikko blocks all of the attacks with his shield and throws his sword doing a big sweeping attack as he swings it on the chain, killing all of the ranged foe's and then some.
Nikko starts slashing at the enemies in close proximity of him, either ripping them apart or slicing them to pieces. Suddenly a grunt throws himself at Nikko and they both fall, quickly before anything else can happen, Nikko extends his arm holding his sword and while spinning and he does a sweeping attack, both kicking and slicing the foe's around him. Nikko swiftly bashes through enemies, either shoving them out of his way while he runs up the stairs and onto the next floor with some enemies still chasing him. He is able to run into a small bedroom and hides, then he sees the many darkness consumed skeletons, corpses and even knights run past the room and Nikko quietly sighs in relief. After all his foe's run past, he walks out of the room and back into the grand hall, deciding to go up the middle staircase that leads into a long bridge going into the main part of the castle. As he walks halfway onto the bridge his entrance and exit is quickly blocked off by a door reinforced by dark magic and two knights drop in on both sides, one carrying a sword and shield and another with a greatsword. Nikko decides to take on the knight with the greatsword first and then sprints to it, holding his shield up and he fakes swinging his sword at the knight so it tries to block. Nikko then quickly bashes the knight down on its back and instantly he drives his sword through the knights chest and pulls it out...but it doesn't die and soon after it gets back up again and Nikko can hear the footsteps of the other knight closing in.
