Chapter 20: The Seventh Trail

Once the light fades, Nikko looks around himself and observes he is in a dark, blood red colored room with pitch black furniture. A chuckle can be heard off in the distance, Nikko quickly draws his sword and shield and starts scanning the entire area around him, but finding nothing. The chuckle turns into a sadistic and maniacal laughter, the room starts to shake violently and then Nikko gets stripped of his equipment as the room shakes. "W-what the hell is happening?" Nikko exclaims while trying to keep his balance, the laughter gets louder and louder along with the violent shaking of the room soon knocking Nikko down on his back. The room stops shaking a few seconds after Nikko falls down but right when he tries to get up, something doesn't let him and he struggles more and more. "It's been awhile Nikko~" a crazed voice similar to his says, Nikko lays there in confusion with his mind racing "oh come on you know me~" it says. Nikko starts panicking, the voice laughs wildly and then says "that you in the trial of pain was a weakling~ I am the stronger one!" it starts laughing more. Nikko goes into pure shock from the realization at whom this may be "I thought I kept you locked up" he says, then suddenly a pale white face with pitch black eyes and blood running down from them, exactly resembling Nikko's face pops right in front of Nikko. "You gave me my name~ my existence~ I just exist somewhere in you~" the voice laughs as Nikko goes further and further into panic, trying his absolute best to move or get up but failing.

Everything goes pitch black for a moment, then once the light comes back on, Nikko is strapped to a chair but staying quiet and preparing for anything that might happen. "At least remember my name~" it says, Nikko replies saying "Kionik...Your name is Kionik..." then he goes quiet again. Kionik smiles while chuckling "I have something for you~" Kionik says, then slowly music can be heard, confusing Nikko. Once the beat gets to a certain point, it gets blasted all throughout the room, violently shaking Nikko and his skull, along with undefined and flashing images of blood red, yellow, black and what seems to be a massacre in various places. The beat slows down along with everything else, Nikko breathing heavily while trying his best to hold something back "oh come onnn~ you know you want to haahahaha!!!" Kionik exclaims. Suddenly as the beat raises again and everything starts flashing and shaking, Nikko starts to overflow with energy making rapidly jitter and making it harder to hold back. "Just a little push~ you know you can go insane with an energy overflow and music like this~ it's a great time when it's my turn to control~" Kionik says in a grim tone. Soon everything starts speeding up, the flashing images, the music, and the rate at which Nikko gains his energy and he starts to shake and jitter even more.

With what seems to be hours passing by of trying to hold back insanity, Kionik quickly goes into Nikko's head, then everything goes pitch black and a crash can be heard on a nearby wall. The light slowly comes back, the chair is in pieces by a wall and Nikko on the other side of the room, violently shaking and laughing. "Blooooodddd!!! I need something to tear into pieces! Too torture! No, a whole race to massacre!!!" Nikko yells while dashing around the room, trying to get out to sooth his thirst for blood. He starts to laugh maniacally while grabbing at his head, a dark blood red aura starts forming around Nikko as his veins start glowing deep red. Nikko slams his palm onto the floor and blood red sound and light starts swirling from his palm up, his veins glowing more and more intensely and then a massive explosion engulfing Nikko and the entire room itself. As the sound and light waves start fading, Nikko is panting on the floor, his right arm all bloody, but Kionik starts overflowing Nikko with energy again. Nikko quickly shoots up on his feet and again jittering and moving, crazed for blood and silently laughing "you can do better~" Kionik says in Nikko's head. The shaking starts to get more and more violent to the point where Nikko starts to blur, he starts to tense up his muscles and grab at his head.

Suddenly Nikko screams loud while zipping all around the room, smacking into the walls while punching them and slamming his head into them, screaming louder. He stops in the center of the room and the dark red aura starts fiercely swirling around Nikko and getting stronger in color and intensity, making the entire room shake. "Here! This will help!!" Kionik exclaims, music resembling negative emotions and actions like screaming, anger, despair, etc starts to play, making Nikko laugh and chuckle in an evil and crazed matter. He slams his fists onto the table in the room, almost instantly breaking it and continues to go into a flurry of destruction, breaking everything in the room while screaming and laughing loudly "I need more!!!!! Aahhhhhh!!! haaaaaahahahahaahaaaaa!!!!" Nikko yells while starting to slam into the walls. "Yess!! This is insanity!!! Let yourself loose!" Kionik screams in Nikko's head, loosing himself even more, Nikko punches the walls and begins to break them, he starts hitting them harder. "Come oonnn!!!!! Aaahh!!" Nikko screams, punching harder and harder, screaming louder and louder as the blood red aura starts to engulf him more and more.
