Write a love story Thursday, September 28th,2017

Why does every subject apply to you? Every time I am asked to write about something, you pop into my mind. I don't even have to look for imagination. You are everywhere all the time. I see you when I walk down the street. I almost ran after a guy because he owned the same shirt you wore all the time. You know the grey one with the Packers logo on it? Of course, you know, it was your shirt. It went to your sister. I hear she wears it to bed every night. I got your black sweater and the Calvin Klein t-shirt I bought you for your birthday. I also stole your cologne. It was on your desk and when I went by your house to pick up a few things, I slipped it into my purse. You're not mad, are you? I loved that cologne. It reminds me of you.
Love, let me get back to my subject. I thought I would tell you about our trip to Europe. It was great trust me. We stayed in cheap hotels, ate too much food, but most of all, we had the greatest sex. With no more parents watching our every move, we were free. So, let me walk you through our trip...
We left the day after graduation. Our flight was so early that I fell asleep on you on the bus that was driving us to the airport. You carried both of our backpacks because you said it was too heavy for me. I fell back asleep when we were waiting to board the plane but you woke me up because you wanted to try the famous pancakes they serve at Sea-Tac. It was the first time you were travelling without your very strict nutritionist of a mother. The pancakes were great by the way. Thank you for forcing me to eat some. We both slept on the plane. We landed in France mid-afternoon and you immediately dragged me into a café to eat a croissant. You and croissants. Sometimes I think you loved them more than you loved me. We danced in front of the Eiffel Tower and you bought me roses from a woman on the street.
Then we went to Spain. We saw a soccer game because we had to. You looked so happy when your team won that I can still picture your face in my mind. That smile, I'll never forget that smile, those dimples.
We made out in a gondola in Italy, tried every pizza we could find, and I took a photo of you trying to stabilize the Tower of Pisa. It's hilarious. You would have laughed.
Switzerland was so beautiful. We skied in the middle of July can you imagine? We skied and went swimming in an outside pool on the same day. We also made out in that pool.
We made fun of everyone we heard talking in Germany. We went to another soccer game and this time, we lost. But we bought hot-dogs with chou croute afterwards so it was ok. We made fun of the word chou croute for days. I still laugh when I hear it.
England was our favorite though. We visited everything we wanted in the first few days and then it rained. It rained for days. Days we spent in bed doing all sorts of uncatholic things. When it was sunny again, we visited the chapel where Prince William married Kate Middleton. The priest pretended to marry us. We invented vows and everything. Apparently, they do this often but to us it felt special. I threw my shoe in an empty chapel because we didn't have any flowers. The priest even gave us some rings. He told us to wear them on our index finger because we had to keep our ring finger for when we would actually get married.
We came home, exhausted but happy and more in love than ever.
This is it. Or it was in my head. We had an amazing trip baby. Trust me, you would have loved it. I know I did.

Letters For You
RomanceThis is going to be weird. At first at least. I haven't talked to you in over a year, but the teacher said we should use this diary to express our emotions and the only one I could ever be one hundred percent honest with is you. Those letters to yo...
