Philip POV

Stepping out of the door from my apartment building, I hear a loud gruff voice shouting to my left.

"Stop! In the name of the law!" I turn my head to see three cops, all panting. I feel a sudden gush of wind blow past me. A girl in all black runs off in the opposite direction, but not before snatching my backpack.

Taking matters into my own hands run quickly after her. I mean, you don't do track in high school and university without knowing how to run fast.

I run after the girl, who suddenly turns into a dark alleyway. I see her stop for a split second until she notices me. The bottom half of her face is covered by a dark mask. But her eyes were crystal clear for the world to see.

Her eyes were something that would be engraved in my mind forever. They were a sparkling shade of (E/C) and they had a slight glimmer of fierceness and adventure.

I was frozen. After what felt like a whole minute, I knocked back into my senses and got back on my feet and continued to run after the girl. She dashed off, running down the dark alley. She pushed over some garbage cans that were standing there. I jumped over them and continued to run after her.

Eventually my breaths were getting heavier and my legs were growing tired. I had slowed down and just when I was about to give up I see that the alley way had gone to an end. The girl looked around in panic. Her eyes caught onto the electricity pole that stood in the corner. She slung my backpack over her shoulder and started to climb up the pole.

Just as she reached the top of the building I had completely given up on getting my backpack back until I saw a black bag fall from above. "What?" The bag, my bag, fell on top of my face and dropped back on the ground. I picked up, semi-conscious since there might be a bomb inside or something among those lines.

Once I opened it, my usual remnants were still inside and there wasn't anything added in. I closed my eyes and sighed in relief. I slung my backpack over my shoulder and walked out of the alley way back into the main part of downtown.

Strange. Why would she steal my bag just to give it back?

Her (E/C) eyes flashed through my mind. Those mesmerizing (E/C) eyes. I shook off whatever I was feeling and continued my path to school.

~One week later~

"See ya later Will," I wave goodbye to my friend and embark the bus that was waiting at a stop. I step onto the bus which just so happened to be nearly full. I groaned knowing that I was probably going to be stuck standing in between several people.

I looked around until I saw a girl sitting on her own near the front of the bus. Excusing myself, I made my way over to the girl and tapped her shoulder lightly.

"Hi there, is this spot taken?" I ask as the girl turns her head around to face me. Her eyebrows raise slightly when she looks at me.

(E/C) eyes.

"No actually. You'd like to sit here I assume?" She responds sweetly, her voice covered thick, strong (Random) accent.

"Yes please,"

Glimmer of fierceness and adventure.

The girl shuffles over to the seat closest to the window. I sit down next to her and place my bag on my lap. I notice her glance at it but before I can say anything about it, she speaks first.

"Crazy day isn't it? There isn't usually this many people on the bus on a Tuesday," she states, trying to make light conversation. I nod, getting a chance to look at her face.

She had lovely (H/L) (H/C) hair that was tucked behind her pierced ear. She was wearing sparkling pink diamond studs and a few extra piercing were located at the top of her ear. They were un-occupied but you could tell she has worn them recently. Her fingers were decorated with a few small shiny rings. She had a light smirk etched on her face and some very light makeup. She was wearing pastel coloured clothing and a sweet smile plastered on her face.

But then I saw her eyes.

Something inside of me bursted the second I looked at them.

They were a bright (E/C) and had just a tint of (R/C) flakes that were engraved in them and it just made them look magical.

"Is there something on my face?" The girl asks as I shake my head trying to remember where I had seen her eyes before.

Then it hit me. Literally.

The bus made a sudden stop and we both jerked forward. The girl grabbed my backpack for support and flung it back towards my face.

Deja Vu much?

The girl looked at me and apologized profusely. My mind went back to what had happened last week and as the girl was about to reach out and see if I was alright, I caught her hand mid-way.

"You."

The girl struggled slightly under my grip before using her other hand to rip my hand off her arm. She looked at me with a sweet confused face. "Excuse me?"

"You're the girl the police were chasing last week."

She blinked several times but I noticed her fists clench in annoyance. "What are you talking about?"

"You're the girl who stole my backpack! You-"

The girl slapped her hand over my mouth. "Shout it a bit louder won't ya? I don't think China heard you," she scruffs, her accent suddenly dissapearing. I mumble something that she doesn't understand but she ignores it.

"If you say one word of this to anyone I swear I'll kill you," she demands as I nod. Slowly, she removes her hand form my mouth and turns her body to face the window. We wait at least another three minutes in silence until the girl suddenly stands up, grabs my arm and drags me off the bus.

"Wait! How did you know this was my stop?" She glares at me until somebody accidentally walks into us. She mutters something under he breath but apologizes and smiles sweetly at the man.

I look at her and her pastel coloured clothing and a confused expression creeps on my face. I continued staring at her, examining her movements.

"Take a picture won't you? It'll last longer," she muttered under her breath.

"Nothing, you just don't really strike me as a professional criminal," I comment as she smirks in content.

"That's what makes me so good at,"

And then she walks away...
