Additional INFO: So it was Alex's birthday but he's been studying all day and you really wanted to celebrate

(Y/N)'s POV

I grumbly open my eyes when I hear the aggravating sound of my alarm clock ringing for school. I rub my eyes and grab my phone of the bedside table. I open it to see the usual notifications from social media along with emails for school but it wasn't one of those that caught my eye.

I look at the very top and see an event today. 

Alex's B-day!❤️🎉

My eyes are suddenly awake and a smile pulls on my lips. I immediately open up messages and open up Alex's texts.

Happy birthday cutie! I love you to bits!❤️❤️🎉🎉

He responds only a few seconds afterwards. I laugh slightly since it was only six thirty in the morning and Alex usual doesn't wake up until after seven. I end up getting ready for school and at around seven-ish I see my roommate, Peggy get out of her room. 

"Morning Pegs! How are you this wonderful morning?" I ask in a cheerful voice. Peggy looks at me with her eyes squinted and a confused look plastered on her face. 

"Why are you so cheerful this morning? You hate mornings, wait-ARE YOU EVEN (Y/N)?!" she yells, suddenly backing up and putting her hands in a protective position. 

I laugh at her reaction before responding. "Calm down Peggy! I'm just happy ok? It's Alex's birthday today and I am excited to celebrate!" she sighs in relief and puts her hands down. 

"Oh is it? I'll have to wish him a happy birthday than. If you need any help with setting up feel free to ask me," she replies grabbing the apple that was sitting on the table. 

A light smirk makes it's way onto my face as she goes to grab something to stuff in her bag. "Oh really? That's great because Laf actually said he wanted to be on decorating duty. You can help him out!" I exclaim as she spits out part out her apple. 

"WHAT!?" she shouts loudly. I snicker at her as she starts to shake her head rapidly. "No way in hell! You know what? I'm actually pretty busy today. I don't think I can do-"

"Why not? Is it because you," I pause for a moment and start to wiggle my eyebrows. "Like him?" I finish in a sing song voice. Her face turn pink and she attempts to cover it with her book. 

"No," she mumbles as I laugh even louder. I grab a cup, pour some water in it and take a sip. I set it down and raise an eyebrow at her.

"Really? Alright I guess I'll just have to have Maria on decorating duty with-"

"NOPE! You know would you look at that? My schedule just cleared up! I guess I have time to help out after all," she rushes out quickly. I laugh loudly at her before checking my phone. It was almost seven thirty and I had my first class at eight.
