It was dark, sunset looming to an end as the night began. Light fading, stars appearing.

Loose gravel crunched beneath the dark bay horses's hooves, a gently breeze playing with strands of her mane. Her steps were tired out, but she still walked with determination – eager to get to the the lights of the town in the distance.

Her rider's own eyes were tired, blonde hair disheveled and face slightly red from a day out in the sun. Still there was a smile on his face as the town drew closer.

Beacontown's large gates opened, Lukas's horse daintily stepping through. He slipped off her back, carefully taking the reins in his hand and proceeding to lead her.

The town was unusually quiet. Lukas had expected people to be around, maybe even take notice of his presence. Beacontown used to be really lively at night, but that evening – even Bad Luck Alley was empty!

Lukas lead his horse up to the large white building, the most mesmerizing build in the entire Beacontown. He still remembered the day he had worked on planning out the architecture for the place.

Lukas tied his horse up to the front fence, walking up to the front door. Despite it being so early, the Order Hall was dark, no light behind the windows. Lukas's expression fell slightly, feeling a bit uneasy.

He carefully walked up to the large front door, knocking loudly. As expected, nobody came to answer the door. Lukas bit his lip, walking back to his horse. He carefully opened the saddle bag, taking out the keys. He didn't want to go about it that way, but his surprise visit was long forgotten and now replaced by a bit more... worry.

Lukas carefully unlocked the large doors, stepping into the dark house. It took him less than five minutes to confirm the place empty.

No voice answered his calls as he walked through the empty building. Ever room he checked empty, some looking like they haven't been in in weeks.

By now they blonde was anxious, his blue eyes filled with concern. He left the building, locking the door again. Just to be certain, he checked the back yard and the stables. Both were empty, the stables not even having horses in them any more.

Lukas broke into a jog back to his horse, vaulting onto her back. He didn't care that it was bad manners to ride her inside of town, there was no time to lead her. He urged the horse on into a jog, riding her away from the Order Hall.

Lukas pulled her up outside a small wooden cottage, dismounting the mare quickly and tying her up to the fence. He walked up the stone pathway, knocking hard on the door. There were lights on behind the curtains, so he knew the owner was home.

There was the thudding of bare feet on wood, the door all of a sudden being thrown open. Lukas was greeted with two wide brown eyes, crooked glasses and messed up black hair.

"Lukas?" Radar asked in surprise, almost looking disappointed. "When I heard the knock I was hoping it to be..." his last statement came out a mere whisper, his voice trailing off.

"Where's Jesse?" Lukas demanded instantly. "The Order Hall is completely empty."

"I know." Radar said, his eyes wide. "It's been like that for a few days now..."

"Where is she?" Lukas demanded.

Radar turned around, walking back inside. Lukas followed him, without waiting for an invitation. Radar took something off a desk, sighing softly.

"Jesse didn't send in the due paperwork to the office last week." He said softly. "When I couldn't make contact with her, I went to her home to find it empty. There were no traces of where she went, and nothing has disappeared with her..."
