Elves In Between the River Bed

We have to get farther away!" Reaver cried.

There's no time! They're already on their way! We can't move anymore!" I snapped.

There has to be more time." He said.

I'm sorry, we have to stop, it's too much pain for me to handle." I whimpered and he looked down sadly.

We should have enough time for this, and then we can keep running." Reaver replied.

With twins! That's a crazy idea, we will be slower and they'll find us all together." I said.

Maybe we'll be lucky!" He cried.

I doubt that, Poppy is already on a horse and on the road by now, she's coming whether we'd like it or not!" I snapped.
Suddenly I was about to scream but Reaver quickly put sticks in my mouth so that I wouldn't , just incase the guards were nearby.
Within at least two hours, the twins were both born, and as healthy as can be.
I could hear the yelling from off in the distance and Poppy's roar of anger.

We need to go." Reaver said as he took one of the twins.

We'll be too slow, they'll catch us." I replied.

There has to be a way." He said.

There is." I answered.

What is that way?" He asked.

You'll have to take them to the elemental kingdom without me, it will give you a head start." I answered.

No!" He cried. "I'm not leaving without you!"

Reaver, they need to be with you and their real father, Poppy can not take custody of my children." I hissed.

There has to be another way." He sobbed.

There isn't, this is there only chance to hear the real story of what happened to me." I replied and he slowly nodded. By now the yelling was closer and I looked at Reaver with worry and fear. "You need to go now."

No." He said.

Reaver, I will only slow you down as much as the babies will, even more in fact. I'm to weak and this is the only chance of real freedom." I explained.

Promise that you'll find a way back to the twins and I?" He asked.

There wont be a moment in any day, that I wont try to find a way back to you." I whimpered.

I guess I, have to go." He said quietly.

Hurry, they'll be here soon." I replied.

Yes?"

I love you, and I will never forget you, I promise you this till the day I; die." He said.

I smiled among all the tears. "I love you too, now hurry." I answered and he quickly kissed my cheek and ran with the twins through the bushes, carefully cuddling them to his chest so that they wouldn't get scratched. If only I had gotten to spend the rest of my days with him.
An hour later the queen's guards appeared at all sides of me and I tried standing up but fell back down, where I was soon chained up but then I could hear the laughing of Poppy but, when she noticed that Reaver and my belly were gone, she growled and took a sharp item from her hair. She neared me with the sharp object from her hair and stuck it near my throat.

How dare you let them escape, I thought you were a loyal prisoner." Poppy hissed.

As if I would ever bow down to you." I growled and she glared even more.

No matter how much revenge I want on you, it wont fix my problems without seeing your dead corpse on my wall." She hissed as she stuck the sharp object into my abdomen.

I screamed with pain, no tears were left to cry but my life was flashing before my eyes.

How does it feel to be in pain, taken from your only love?" Poppy asked with a growl.

Y-you've, never, been in, love." I croaked from the last remaining words I had.

Wrong, I was in love with the kingdom that you don't deserve, the forest kingdom that I will soon take custody of." She hissed.

You haven't, shown, that you're worthy of ruling, over, it." I said.

Quiet!" She roared as she quickly took her weapon from my abdomen and then jabbing it into my heart. "You don't deserve everything you've gotten, this is the only thing you deserve, death. Of course you deserve much more like, torture but, this will satisfy me much more."
Poppy watched closely as the life slipped away from my body, leaving a corpse that she was still glaring at.
My body slid to the ground, lifeless, and all was silent, except for Poppy, who was still growling at my body. 

Your majesty, shall we take the body back to the kingdom to have a burial?" A guard asked.

She doesn't deserve a burial." Poppy hissed.

Then shall we chop off her head and mount it on your wall?" The guard asked.

Her head and body is worthless to me, she is nothing but garbage now. Leave the body to rot, thats the proper burial for her." Poppy growled as she moved away from my lifeless corpse. "Take me back home to see Magnus, he'll be waiting, and put up a reward for any elf who find Reaver alive or dead, if he is alive, bring him and he will receive his death, if already dead bring him back to me and I will decide whether to throw him into the pond, or to have a proper burial for him."

Of course your majesty, and what will the reward be?" The guard asked.

Five gold coins and a request of their choosing." Poppy answered.

What if you don't like their request?" He asked.

Then I shall either imprison him or, have him killed immediately." She answered with an evil grin smeared across her face.

We will finish this as fast as possible your majesty." The guard said.

Oh, I hope so, otherwise, it would be so devastating to see another loyal guard dead, just because he failed to complete the tasks I have asked." Poppy replied and the guard quickly ran off to a horse where he had already taken off with one other guard.

Shall we go back?" A different guard asked.

Yes, there's nothing else here for us." Poppy answered and she took off towards her carriage with her other three guards at her side...
