So, are you like the queen? Should I treat you as the all important and magical dragon?" I asked.

River, I'm your guardian, you named me, you are giving me a home and feeding me, there is no need to serve me since, you already are pretty much, I am the one that is supposed to serve you." She explained.

Ok, should I tell Grammy then?"

No!" Moray cried. "That is uncalled for, no one must find out of my existence."

Calm down." I said. "I was only asking.

One more thing, you have to take full responsibility of me. I also turn into an elf once I am just big enough to be a table." She said.

Is that all?" I asked.

Yes." She answered with a sweet smile.

Good, because I want you to sleep outside tonight." I said.

Wait what?!" She cried. "It is so cold out there! I want to be warm inside with you."

Honestly, you could be a spy for my uncle, you might kill me in my sleep." I explained.

I promise I won't." She promised.

I believe you but, just to make sure, I want you to spend a week outside, you are not aloud inside at all."

How will I be fed?" Moray asked.

I will come outside every day." I answered.

Will it be fresh?" She asked.

I do not know." I answered.

Oh fine." She groaned. "I will go outside."

As I watched her leave, I sighed. Where the fish sticks had she learned anything other than how to eat and kill?! I wanted to scream but there was just too much to think about at the time.

Suddenly the door swung open in the kitchen and Grammy stumbled inside, covered in blood. "What happened?!"

Nothing." She gasped. "I had to attend some business and things got messy."

Did anyone get hurt?" I asked. "Did you?"

I haven't been hurt too badly, no one else has been hurt." She assured me.

I turned away in fear, what had happened while Grammy was gone? Was she lying and actually did hurt someone? Or was she telling the truth and something bad happened to her?

I went to my room where I found Moray lying on my bed, asleep. What had today become? I could hear noises outside my Chamber but, I couldn't tell what was going on, until I heard my uncles booming voice from the kitchen.

She is not suited to be a queen!" He roared.

She is at a fair age! It will be fine!" Grammy snapped.

How can you possibly know that?! Her parents were some of the stupidest elves who could have ever lived among the other stupid elves!" My uncle cried.

They were not stupid but you certainly were! You hired some guards from your own family and ordered them to kill them, and then you were going to kill your own niece!" My Grammy roared.

How did you find out about what I did anyways!?" He asked.

River told me!" Grammy answered.

And you are going to believe a young child like her?!" He roared.

Yes! She has the purest heart in this kingdom!" She cried.

So do I!" My uncle Caspian snapped.

LIAR!!!!! Your guards just tried to kill me!!" Grammy roared.

Lies!" Hissed Caspian. "I speak the truth but you certainly do not."

How can you lie so much and not look guilty?" She asked.

Oh, because it is easy not to look guilty, after all I am the very best at it." He answered.

So you are guilty and just hid it very well with your charms?" My Grammy asked.

Exactly." He answered.

GUILTY! HE HAS BEEN PROVEN GUILTY!!!" Grammy cried and guards came running in.

WHAT!!!? LIES!!! This woman lies!!!" My uncle roared.

He just confessed to his lies!" Grammy cheered. "Take him away forever! Banish him to the ice kingdom!"

I ran out of the room and looked at my uncle with disgust. "Admit it that you killed my parents."

I didn't kill them." He hissed.

Tell the truth." I growled and he sighed.

Yes." He mumbled. "I killed them."

Water bug, what would you like the punishment to be?" My grandmother asked.

She will choose death, children never really care." Caspian hissed.

I whispered into Grammy's ear and she nodded.

Take him away to the Ice kingdom where he can freeze down in the dungeons without good quality food and take away his clean water." She announced and my uncle's eyes bulged out from their sockets in horror.
