Anabel gazed at the two pokemon she called her friends. "Guys, how did you know that the tornado would explode?" She asked.
Darkrai smirked with his eyes. He used Psychic to lift Anabel. "Look at the sky." Eevee softly commanded. Anabel gazed up into the sky and she gasped. There was a ship in the sky. Anabel suddenly was feared with fear.
"Put me down." Anabel says with fear in her voice. Darkrai gently put Anabel back on the ground. However, a Hyper Beam was heading towards her and Anabel founded herself in the air again. Darkrai was holding Eevee in his arm.
The Hyper Beam flew past Anabel, shocking her. "What's going on?" She asked Darkrai.
"Someone is attacking us!" He shouted over attack sounds. A Flamethrower was thrown his way and Darkrai used Dark Pulse after Eevee climbs onto Anabel's shoulder.
Darkrai used Dark Pulse again in the direction where Hyper Beam and Flamethrower came from. Something was hit by Dark Pulse, but Darkrai wasn't going to hit there to find out as he had his future trainer and her starter in his hold. "Hold on tight! We're busting out of here!" Darkrai says Dark Pulse as an way to fly out quickly.
As they flew much quicker, Anabel held onto Eevee tighter, but she didn't mind as she knew that Anabel was afraid. "Take us back to Cerulean City, Darkrai. It's time to challenge Misty for the Cascade Badge." Anabel tells Darkrai.
"Even in your frightened condition?" Darkrai asked, concerned about Anabel. She was trembling even while floating with Darkrai.
"Yes. I will be fine, Darkrai. Thank you for worrying." Anabel tells Darkrai. Even Eevee wasn't convinced by Anabel's words.
Darkrai obediently brought them to Cerulean City. Darkrai quickly disappeared into Ansbel's shadow so he couldn't scare people. "Anabel, maybe you should call your parents before the gym battle." Eevee tells Anabel. Anabel agreed with that plan, so she went to the Pokemon Center and healed up her pokemon.
She called her mother, who was glad that she called her as soon as she gotten to Cerulean City. She talked to both her mother and father, who wished her luck with her gym battle. Anabel knew that she been a bit paranoid, but talking to her parents calmed her down a lot. When she hung up, Eevee nuzzled her. "You're a lot calmer now. I can tell." Eevee was pleased.
When they walked outside, they saw a wild pokemon that shocked Anabel.
