I stood outside of my house, a few days later, waiting for Dally. He was supposed to pick me up for our first date soon. It wasn't anything overly special, we were just going to the drive-in, but I got to spend time with Dally, so I was happy.

Within the next few minutes, he walked up to the porch. I jumped down the steps, excitedly. He noticed.

"I would ask if you were ready to go, but something tells me that you've been ready for the past hour," he said. I blushed. He was right. I was really excited.

"Let's go then," I said grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the sidewalk. He stopped and quickly kissed me before continuing on.

At the drive-in, we went and got popcorn and Cokes before looking for a place to sit. Not many people were there tonight, something I was glad about, but of course since I was there with Dallas Winston, we were bound to run into trouble.

A group of Socs walked by and asked, "Who brought the trash in here?" Dally stood up, angrily.

"What did you say?" he shouted as he grabbed the speaker's collar.

"You heard me, greaser," the Soc said. Dally punched him square in the face. That would definitely leave a bruise.

The Soc and his two friends tackled him, but Dally put up one heck of a fight. I pulled one of the Socs off of Dally before a drive-in employee separated the rest of the boys. Needless to say, they threw all of us out of the place.

"Does trouble just follow you everywhere?" I asked, as we walked home.

"No, Jenny. I am trouble," he said, chuckling slightly. I laughed and slipped my hand into his. As we walked on, I leaned my head against his shoulder.

"So when are we going to tell the gang?" I asked, changing the subject.

"About what," he looked confused.

"About us."

"How about never? I don't know how they'll react," he answered.

"I'm sure that's it and it's not that you're worried they'll tease you," I said sarcastically.

"No I'm not."

"Prove it then. We'll tell them tomorrow," I dared.

"Fine," he said. I grinned. Telling the boys would make it seem official. At this point, even Two-Bit didn't know about us. He thought I had gone out with some friends tonight.
