Autumn's POV
*Click Clack* *Click Clack* Went my black heels as I walked to Rosetta's. I was going on a date with my crush since.....forever it seems. "Eeeee." I squealed as I walked down the sidewalk. This guy, he has striking blonde hair that turns white at the tips. I sigh happily just thinking about him.
His blue eyes always catch me off guard when he looks at me. His smile is super contagious. Agent Austin Matthews is his name. Beautiful, right? He works as a field agent. He is extremely strong even though his figure doesn't show it. His long sleeve shirts always hug him perfectly in the right places making him look amazing always. I think I'm in love with him.
I walk through the doors of the building with my aquamarine dress flowing behind me. My dress came to my knees in the front but ran all the way to my feet in the back. I was strapless exposing my shoulders completely making me self conscious of all the stares directed in my direction. I scanned the room my eyes automatically locking with Austin's. His beautiful eyes. He smiled taking my breath away. Eyes crinkling like they always do when he smiles. I will never get used to his smile.
I felt myself automatically smile in return making my way to his table. My back was to the doors and we were sitting across from each other. He was wearing a black tuxedo with a white tie.
"You look beautiful." He breathed out.
"So do you." I replied absent-wait.... I just called him beautiful. "No, no, no I meant you look incredibly handsome." I rambled.  He chuckled. I love his laugh so much. It's so perfect. It was an infectious laugh. I laughed with him inevitably.
"So," He started resting his arms on the table in front of him. "Relax first, will you?" He said reaching over and rubbing my arm unaware that he was making me tense even more. I finally relaxed into his touch. "Better." He said smiling. I smiled with him.
"Anyway, what are we having to eat?" He said taking a look at his menu.

THIRD PERSON VIEW AT HYDRA
"WE GONNA BURN THE WHOLE HOUSE DOWN!!" They sang with the music, entirely aware of the fact that they were singing off key. Layla navigated her way through the group of dancing bodies in the cafeteria at HYDRA. Making it to the kitchen she saw Marcus Hiram, Liam Lexington, and Adam Coleman. Finally! People I know! She thought to herself.
"Hey guys." She waved at them grabbing their attention.
"Layla!!" Liam said happy to see her. Marcus on the other hand was upset Layla was there in the first place. He didn't like her. He thought she was too good at her job and way to cheerful.
"Go away." He snarled at her. Her face dropped when he said that and she knit her eyebrows together. Adam nudged him.
"It's a party, man. Get over it." Adam whispered in his ear so only he could hear it. Marcus looked away disgusted. He had to sit in the office hacking with Autumn and he really, really liked Autumn, but she was in love with someone else. Adam, Liam,  Austin, and Layla all got to be on the field. Why couldn't he?
"Liam, I want to take my mind off things right now. Want to dance." Layla whispered seductively in his ear earning a smirk from Liam.
"Yeah, sure." They walked over to the dance floor and swayed to the music with Layla's head resting on Liam's shoulder. She smiled contentedly with her eyes closed.
"I don't like her." Marcus said as he watched them dance. Adam looked at him funny.
     "Why not?"
"She's way too good at her job. Like who can take out more than 20 people in 5 weeks?" Adam shrugged.
     "I don't know, man."
Layla's POV
I wish I could have a permanent guy to sway with me whenever like this. I know Liam is not a permanent type of guy. The dance is as far as this will get.
"You're beautiful, Layla. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise." He said into my hair. I looked up and met his brown eyes. His golden hair was curved to the side like it usually is.
"Have you every tried a different hair style, Liam?" I asked running a hand through his hair. He immediately tensed. I kept running my hand through his hair. I wish this could never end, but sadly it probably will and I will be left with nothing. Again. He shook his head and moved my hand from his hair. I frowned and instead settled with tracing the lines on his face. We had stopped swaying due to the fact that it was almost like Liam couldn't move. I traced his forehead and moved to tracing his nose. He closed his eyes after this and just let me touch him.
"Keep doing that and I'll end up kissing you." I immediately stopped moving at his words. I liked Liam a lot. I liked him as more than a friend, but I never knew if he like me back. This was my chance. I put both of my hands on his cheeks and pulled him to me my lips pressing onto his. He seemed surprised at first because he didn't move. When he realized what was happening he kissed back and put his hands on my waist.

Austin's POV
She is beautiful. I walked her to her quarters once we got back to HYDRA after our date and was completely satisfied with it. Hopefully we can go on another one. There was a party going on today so I wasn't surprised when I heard loud music. We made it to her quarters. She turned and looked at me.
"Thank you. For tonight." She said then kissed my cheek leaving me frozen where I was standing. She giggled and opened her door. "See you tomorrow, Austin." She said and walked into her room leaving me stunned and completely bewildered. What just happened? She kissed your cheek, idiot. My brain told me. I walked to my room in a dazed state.
"Yes!" I said jumping in the air and fist pumping the air.

Liam's POV
I can't. I stopped the kiss and looked at her confused expression. That expression was the exact expression my heart held. Why did I do that. Because I don't want to hurt her with the truth. I turned and walked away leaving a very confused Layla on the dance floor. "What the heck, man!!" Adam yelled at me.
"I don't want to talk about it." I grumbled quietly. I grabbed a red cup and downed the liquid inside. It burned my throat as it ran down the sides of it. "I'm going off to bed." I said slightly out of it. I looked at the dance floor and saw Layla no where. And I didn't see Marcus by us either.

Layla's POV
Walking to my room in the dark wasn't that bad. I opened my door and looked inside. A long sigh came out. "Home sweet home." I mumbled.
"Layla!" A voice called to me. "Don't sulk. It makes you look weak."
"I'm not sulking." I replied to Marcus.
"How did you kill all those people in 5 weeks, huh?" He asked I rolled my eyes.
"I've been here before." I said curtly.
     "Tell me." He commanded.
"No thanks." I said bluntly trying to avoid the conversation. I caught me off guard and had me pinned against my door with his forearm across my throat. I closed my eyes tightly not trying to hurt him. All of a sudden he backed off. I peeked to look at him and he wasn't there.
"Um, please put me down now." I looked up and saw Marcus pinned against the ceiling. I smiled and brought him back down. He dashed away. Hands on my hips I watched as his figure grew smaller and smaller.
"He really is a wimp isn't he?" I jumped and spun around and was met with my favorite brown eyes. He smiled down at me as I smiled up at him.
"Hey, Liam." I breathed. His eyes still glowed in the dark.
"Hi, Layla." He seemed upset. I didn't know why though. "Goodnight, Layla. Sleep well." He said and walked off in the direction Marcus ran off in.
"Night, Liam." I whispered. Maybe, in a different dimension, we are meant to be, but for now I can't be with him. I'll get over it. More walls to put up I guess. Not that I mind them. They shield me from hurt, and disappointment, and loneliness, and heartbreak so I think I'm okay with just being with the walls around my heart.

A.N. This originally was going to be a really short chapter just about Autumn's date, but then it turned out to be a full chapter. I'm not complaining. Anyway, Austin is based on a friend's crush. He is naturally a sweet guy soooo. Goodnight you all. Love ya! Until next time.
