Chapter 22- Curiosity Killed The Cat

Lauren's POV

"So tell us more about you, which college do you want to go to after we graduate?" Tiffany asks me as I am seated on the table of the rich and sportive people.

"I don't know yet, but I hope to get a scholarship." I say honestly.

She can't bite me in the ass with information like that, so I don't bother to lie to her.

"So you seriously went to this school since you were a freshman?" A girl wonders. Well lots of people must wonder that. I nod my head at her before she asks me another question. "How come we never met." She asks me as she plays with her fork.

"To be honest with you, I just blended in and made sure to stay off radar." I say.

"How is? I mean to be not popular or to be able to do whatever you wanted?"

"You can always do whatever you want when you decide that you can't care less about your status in school or whatever. I wasn't really scared to lose something or someone." I tell the girl.

Because I had no one nor did I have something.

Her name was Isabella, everyone calls her Bella or Bels. She was brunette with green eyes and she seemed very bright. She was short and just like the others rich. She was just like Tiffany a cheerleader. She was pretty and not arrogant at all just curious and I didn't mind to talk to her. She didn't seem to judge me, but showed a little respect even if she doesn't know what I went through the past month or years in my life, she didn't judge me.

"Okay enough about that." Tiffany says with a smile, that seemed way to fake. "We have to practice our cheers and moves for the game next week. We wouldn't want to disappoint our star player, would we?" She says winking at the boys that are seated at the other end of the table.

Tiffany stands up and a few of the girls follow her along with a few of the boys. The girls must be on the team as well and the boys, you know they probably want to watch the girls practice I guess. I watch the group of popular kids walk out of the canteen before I hear the other two girls I am left with talking.

"Do you know what you are going to wear to the party yet?" One of the girls ask the other. The blonde one.

"Not really, I thought about a skirt and crop-top instead of a dress, you?" The other girl says. The girl with the pitch black hair said.

"I thought of the new skinny jeans I got with a little more fancy top, than I usual wear." The blonde girl answers.

The girl that talked first had blonde hair with blue eyes. Her skin looked like it was flawless, you didn't see a lot of make-up like Tiffany has. Her skin looked perfect, just like the skin of the other girl. Her eyes were the same blue colour, but her hair was pitch black, which made her skin look a little more pale, but it did good on her.

"Are you going to the party as well?" The black haired girl asks me.

"What party?" I ask them curious.

"After the game, if we win and I am sure we will, there is going to be a party at Liam's house. He invited the whole school, so you can come with us if you want to." The blonde girl asks me.

"That sounds cool, but I have to ask permission from my parents first." I say biting my lip.

I have parents that I have to ask permission from now, I still have to get used to saying that.

"Cool. My name is Melissa and this is my twin Bethany." The blonde girl, Melissa says. Her hair is probably paint

"But you can call her Lisa and me Beth. Even our parents call us that." Bethany says.
