Chapter 23- The School Play
Lauren's POV
Friday came by a little bit too slow. Each day that passed was a lot like Monday. I sat with Beth & Lisa on the popular table, I didn't really want to but they insisted. Liam made a few more stupid jokes around me. Zayn and I got a little distant, we used to be a lot together without school. We still talk, and no we don't avoid each other. Why would we? Oh and Tiffany gets more suspicious each day, but I still have no freaking idea what it is about. She gives me looks and I checked, she doesn't give her other friends those looks.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell. I am going to the party next week thursday! To Liam's party. The party that everyone seems so excited about. My parents just said yes, right away. Saying that I could take care of myself and that they trusted me. They even gave me money to buy some clothes to buy for the party.
"So any plans in the weekend?" Lisa asked me.
"Not really, maybe I will buy some clothes for the party." I say as we walk outside.
It was finally a sunny day. Well there was a sun, but it was still a little cold.
"You should, or we can help you pick something out." Lisa said.
"That would be great. This is my first and I don't want to be in the spotlight or embarrassed. What are your plans?" I ask Lisa.
"Not much. We never make plans for the weekend. We wake up whenever we want to or have to, which is when we have to eat or go to the toilet." Lisa says and I give her a weird look.
"What do you do usually in the weekend?" I wondered.
She laughed, "We both just wake up around ten sometimes later, we grab our iPads or phones and literally just check out everything on the social media and after that we watch some tv shows. We never make plans for the weekend, we never did and we probably won't make them. We only get out of the house after six till midnight sometimes." She says.
Wow, my weekends are just basically breakfast, homework, sleep. Am I missing out? I should probably start watching a few Tv shows as well, just to know what I miss out on.
{any suggestions for a tv show? I am watching Pretty Little Liars, Teen Wolf, The Fosters, and The Vampire Diaries. I watched one episode of Gossip Girl and watched all seasons of Desperate Housewives. Yeah and I need more lol.- Habibe}
"Beth is coming." Lisa announces before I could respond to her. We were currently sitting on a bench in front of the school, watching some students- Bethany being one of them.
As beth got closer I noticed the frown on her face. She seemed angry and was looking all around the place, but she was walking towards is. So she was looking for someone?
"What happened?" Lisa asks Beth as beth took a seat next to her.
"I need to tell you something." Beth says looking at Lisa. Her eyes got a quick worried glance from me before she spoke the next word, "later."
Probably something private?
"Um, you just got me worried." Lisa says with a frown.
"Do you mind if we leave you alone for the rest of lunch? We'll text you tomorrow. Okay?" Lisa asks me and I nod my head. "Yeah sure, go ahead."
I don't wanna be a bother. They both stood up and walked away. I watched their backs until they were out of sight and before they were, they turned around and gave me a look. It wasn't one with a smile. I felt huge gap in my chest, I was growing closer to them in the last few days. Not close enough to tell them everything about me, they even told people to walk away when they asked me questions. They knew I wasn't ready to talk and I felt like they understood, but this just gets bad.
