Chapter 12

Blaine then spent all of the following night debating whether or not he should go into school the next day. He eventually fell asleep, but he woke up again thanks to nightmares about his previous 'experiences' at Dalton.

He only got out of bed when Kurt called him, asking where the hell he was.

Ring Ring
Mistreated, Misplaced, Misunderstood
Miss, no way it's all good,
It didn't slow me down
Mistaken,
always second guessing,
underestimated,
Look i'm still around.

Blaine wanted to lay there all day and just listen to the lyrics on repeat. However, he snapped himself out of it when he realised Kurt would pissed if he didn't pick up his phone.

"Sup Kurt."

"Sup Kurt? That's all you're gonna say to me when schools starts in 15 minutes and you're still not here?"

As Kurt said this, Blaine rushed out of bed and checked the time. 8:25. Crap. Luckily Blaine hsd fallen asleep in his clothes from yesterday last night, so he didn't have to worry about that.

Blaine gelled his hair as Cooper drove him to school (he had offered to give him a lift, but only if Blaine mentioned him to Miss Holliday.) and somehow made it 5 minutes before the first bell.

Blaine slumped in the shadows of the school, hoping not to be noticed by anyone except possibly Kurt. He peered around every corner until he thought he was safe, before opening his locker as quietly as possible and grabbing his books for the day.

As he closed his locker, he was met with dozens of blood red jackets. Before he could even question what was happening, he felt the sting of artificial strawberry slushee flavouring burn his eyes.

Before the figures walked away, Blaine heard one of them shout "Carrie 2.0 Bitch!"

With no sense of vision, Blaine tried walking anywhere, but it was no use. He was hopeless. Until he heard that voice.

" OH MY GOD BLAINE WHO THE ACTUAL HELL DID THIS?? CAUSE I WILL PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL GET SANTANA TO GO ALL LIMA HEIGHTS ON THEIR-"

"KURT! That is the least of my worries right now! Can you please just help me regain my sense of vision?"

Neither of them spoke until they made it to the only disabled bathroom at Mckinley. But Blaine felt bad.

"Kurt, I'm sorry for lashing out like that. I didn't get any sleep last night because I was thinking about all the situations I could end up in today. Honestly, this was the most expected one."

As Blaine spoke on, Kurt chuckled at times. But mostly stared at him in awe and wonder. He mostly just wondered Why? Why would anyone be out to get Blaine? But then Kurt's mid thought back to that time at the Lima Bean.

Blaine had kissed him.

Before he knew what he was doing, Kurt had pressed his lips onto Blaine's. Even though Blaine's head was on his lap and it was literally the spiderman kiss all over again.

Blaine hated spiderman, but thought that now would not be a good time to mention that to Kurt.

Once they had finished tidying Blaine up, They both realised that they were already half way through 1st period. Without saying another word they both headed towards their seperate lessons and thought about what had just happened.

This time, Blaine thought, he kissed me. He's gotta reciprocrate my feelings in some way or another, right? But i can't drag him into my life that much.

As Blaine daydreamed, he hadn't even noticed himself wandering towards his French class. He quickly grabbed his late slip from the teacher and raced to the back of the class, hoping not to be noticed.

He then spent the rest of the lesson doodling in his notebook.

As soon as the bell went, Blaine had an idea.

Meet me @ the Lima bean at 4. Xo

Now, Blaine just had to wait and see if he'd arrive.
