Due to the fact that Santana had been one of the first people to get the paper, no one else in Glee club had heard the story of what Tina had done.
It took at least 30 minutes for Brittany to understand what had happened. But once she did, even she was furious.
Shouting from the choir room could be heard from the other side of the school.
"WAIT WHAT? HOW COULD SHE BETRAY US LIKE THAT! CLEARLY SHE WAS JUST JEALOUS THAT I GOT MORE SOLOS THAN HER LAST YEAR!" Rachel shouted (very audible sighs could be heard from most).
"Rachel, we think it might have something to do with the fact that Blaine turned her down, like less than a week ago." Kurt said, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"WELL THAT TOO, OBVIOUSLY!" Rachel remarked whilst Finn forced her to sit down carefully. She really didn't enjoy admitting that she was wrong.
"What can we do though? The secret's already out." Mercedes said from the back, although she still had her teeth clenched and hands in fists.
"I'n glad you brought that up Mercedes. Tomorrow. Glee club. We're getting Tina kicked out."
"Dude, have you forgotten that Sectionals are only two weeks away? We won't be able to get a new member in that short time." Finn pointed out, trying not to make Kurt angrier than he already was.
"Oh, I already have that covered," As he said, Quinn went and opened the door to two random guys. "This is Rory Flanagan and Jack Hart. Both of which have killer voices and transferred on the same day as Blaine."
"It's actually Joe."
"Whatever, I was close."
"Okay, see you later losers, Glee dismissed."
Blaine and Kurt walked to the navigator together. As they got to the car, Blaine suddenly stopped.
"Don't you feel kind of guilty for this? Like, do you really think she deserved all this?"
"Blaine. She just outed you infront of most of Mckinley. She should have thought about what she was doing before she did it. Obviously, you weren't ready to come out. But she can't use her silly little crush as an excuse for all this chaos she's started around us."
"Fine. I'll try and forget. But thanks. For everything you've done for me so far." As Blaine said this, he wrapped his arm around Kurt's waist. They stood there for a couple of minutes just relishing in each other's warmth and love.
Eventually they got into Kurt's car. The ride was pretty quiet until Blaine spoke up.
"Hey, do you wanna go out somewhere?"
"Well Mr Anderson, what were you thinking?"
"Errr i don't really know. I just know that I wanna go on one of those cheesy awkward dates with you again. You know, since we both enjoyed the last one so much." Blaine said, linking hands with Kurt.
"How about a movie? The Fault in our Stars should still be showing."
"Fine. Only if we get popcorn though. But just to warn you I'll be a mess by the end of it."
"Deal. Because I will also be a mess."
Once they had entered the movie theater, they went and bought their tickets and food (Blaine also started to fanboy when he saw a poster for Bohemian Rhapsody, which Kurt had to physically drag him away from).
As they slowly inspected the dark room, they noticed that they were sat in an empty theater. Both of them were praying that no one else would enter.
They let out a sigh of relief when the film started and no one else had came into the screening room.
Throughout the movie, both boys talked and sang along to the backing tracks (Blaine sang a rendition of Boom, Clap which had Kurt falling off of his chair with laughter).
When it got to the saddest part of the movie, Kurt snuggled into Blaine's side, not even caring if his hair had gotten messed up. He could hear Blaine's heart, steadily beating. Blaine gently placed a kiss onto his head.
By the end of the movie, they were both bawling with tears, barely making it out of the theater with falling over.
"Oh god. I'd rather be cheated on then have a relationship end like that." Kurt said, still bawling.
"Same."
An awkward silence enticed the car until Blaine let it slip.
"I love you."
Kurt stopped. No one had ever said that to him. Not even Adam. How did he respond? Should he respond.
"Oh no no, I knew I shouldn't have said that, oh god,"
"Blaine."
I fully understand if you wanna break up and spend the rest of your life hating me -"
"I love you too."
Relief clearly washed over Blaine's face. He slowly started leaning in, as did Kurt.
Electricity.
It felt like they were made for each other. Nothing could distract them at that moment. They were just focused on each other.
Not even the camera flash.
Or the rustling in the bushes.
Once they parted, they both sat there and blushed continously, until Kurt started up the engine and headed back.
Blaine tried subtly turning up the radio before he started singing along passionately.
I walked across, an empty land,
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand.
I fel the earth beneath my feet,
sat by the river and it made me complete.
Oh simple thing,
Where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on.
So tell me when, you're gonna let me in,
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin,
Kurt slowly joined in the second verse.
I came across, a broken tree,
I felt the branches of it looking at me,
Is this the place, we used to love?
Is this the place that I 've been dreaming of?
They both belted out the chorus at the top of their lungs,
Oh simple thing,
Where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on.
So tell me when, you're gonna let me in,
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin,
And if you have a minute why don't we go,
talk about it,
somewhere only we know,
this could be the end of everything,
so why don't we go,
somewhere only we know.
They were giggling, which turned to laughing, which turned to kissing again.
Maybe school wouldn't be so bad for Blaine?
Maybe...
