Kurt didn't stick to his promise. He went and visited Blaine every day. But, one faithful December day, Kurt's dream came true.
He was casually flicking through that week's edition of vogue when he noticed something. A small noise coming from the bed beside him. Groaning and moaning.
"OH MY GOD. BLAINE! YOU'RE ALL RIGHT! STAY RIGHT THERE, I'M GETTING A NURSE!" Kurt spat out as quickly as he could, before sprinting off to grab Nurse Carole.
He was sent out the room whilst they checked on him, until Doctor Buswell came out.
"He is, surprisingly, perfectly fine. He didn't take enough drugs to harm him severely, just enough to make himself pass out. However, we do suggest maybe taking him to therapy or your school councillor. But, you're free to go see him."
At this, Kurt burst in, just to see him sat there in all his glory. Colour in his face, no longer ghastly pale. Eyes of autumn leaves finally open.
Kurt finally felt calm.
There eyes locked. All Blaine could manage to get out was "Kurt" before the taller boy whispered "Don't" and encapsulated him in a long hug.
Kurt spoke first,
"We think Tina may be expelled. She's already been kicked out of glee club and they're thinking of taking it to court. But Blaine, babe, just don't scare me like that ever again. Promise me."
"I promise. But honestly, I don't think I could die. There was something in my head, it just kept repeating 'you can't leave Kurt'. I knew. And I'm glad I listened. They just organised my therapy sessions, so you don't have to worry about me. Wait, what day is it?"
"December 19th. Why?"
"Well, we've got one more day of school. Shall we pay them a visit?"
"Aren't you worried about what everyone will say? About us?"
"I know now that as long as I've got you, or the glee club by my side, I'll be happy."
With this, Kurt leaned over, softly placing his lips on Blaine's.
"I'm free to leave whenever, according to the doctors. So, shall we get going, Kurtie?"
"We shall, B."
Blaine got more and more nervous about going back to Mckinley by the minute. Not because he was scared of the students looks.
No, because he was scared he would see Tina.
Luckily, Kurt was already on that.
He had a member of the glee club in most parts of school, telling Kurt which route she was taking to get her to her next lesson. They had also managed to convince Principal Figgins to give them a copy of her timetable.
There was also a surprise party set up for Blaine in the choir room, but he didn't think he should mention that just yet.
As the bell went for lunch, Kurt directed Blaine through the longest way to get to the choir room, giving everyone else time to get there as well. However, he knew he had to keep an eye out for Tina as she could be anywhere.
Kurt ignored the confused look on the smaller boy's face as he looked into the pitch black room. Opening the door, he allowed Blaine to go in first, then rested against the wall next to the light switch, preparing to turn them on.
As he flipped the switch, a deafening noise came from the other side of the room. Shouting and Cheering of 'Welcome back!' scared Blaine half to death. Slowly, a smile crept onto his face, before he went over to hug everyone.
