Don't Fall For Him

Chapter 4

"Hi, I'm Blaine, It's really nice to meet you!" Blaine grinned, as he held out his hand. "Kurt, Kurt Hummel. Nice to meet you too!" Kurt somehow stuttered whilst shaking his hand. As they shook hands, electricity felt like it was flying through them. Kurt looked into Blaine's eyes, the smile disappearing off of his lips.

"Right, Kurt, just show Blaine around the school for today, then you may go home."

"Thanks Principal Figgins."
With that, Kurt headed out of the office, consistently one step ahead of Blaine as he showed him around the school.

Just as they finished the tour, the bell went for lunch. They said their goodbyes, then Kurt practically ran to his Navigator.

Damn, this was hard.

Kurt really liked the guy. He probably didn't act like it, due to his monotone voice throughout the entire tour. But not once did the smile disappear off of Blaine's face. He was fascinating.

Kurt realized he was daydreaming, so he started up the engine and drove home.

As he opened the front door, he then realised that he was home alone because Burt was at the shop working late, Carole also, and Finn had probably gone to Rachel's house. Kurt made a Chocolate Souffle (What? it was his cheat day!) and sat on the couch, whilst watching his favourite movie of all time, Moulin Rouge.

The film was so special, as it was the last movie him and his mother had watched together, the day before she passed away. As he got to the performance of Come What May, Kurt then had reality hit him. Kurt,
•knew nothing about Blaine
•Didn't know if he was gay
•Didn't know if he had a girlfriend or boyfriend

and yet, he was imagining singing one of the most romantic duets of all time with him.

Great.

The next day, Kurt met Blaine just outside of the choir room, just to get to know him better (and to secretely flirt).

"Hey Kurt!" Blaine walked in wearing a black polo shirt with yellow skinny jeans, a yellow and black- striped bow-tie and black dress shoes. As he strutted down the hall, all Kurt could think was

DAMN.

"Kurt. KURT!" Blaine shouted in Kurt's face. He hadn't realised he had been staring. Oh well.

"Sorry, what we're you going to ask?"

"Oh I was just wondering if you would like to meet up at Breadstix, tonight at 7? Like, I mean it's okay if you can't, I'm sure you're really popular, it wou-"

"Blaine, no offense, but shut up. You're rambling. Of course I'll meet you at Breadstix. Now come on, we've got algebra and Mrs Peralta hates it if we're late, just like 90% of other teachers. Mr Schuester gave up when he got Puck, Finn, Sam and Mike in the same spanish class."

Blaine let out a small chuckle and smile. "Great, let's go."

Whilst they walked down the corridors, they made small talk, just finding out small things about each other, like their birthdays, their families. That's when Kurt let it slip.

"Are you gay?"

"Why? Do you hate gays? Cause if so, we really can't be friends."

"No, silly, I'm gay. I was just wondering what your ops on my kind were i guess."

"Oh, well, I'm gay.

"Okay."

Silence took over them. The bell went, startling them. They walked to class, without speaking a word to each other for the rest of the day. So Kurt thought.

As the last bell of the day went, Kurt felt a small tap on his shoulder. He sashayed around to see Blaine with his big cheesey grin. Before he could make fun of him, Blaine spoke up.

"See you at Breadstix, Kurtie."

With that he walked off.

He was making it really hard for Kurt to not like him.

But a crush was just a crush.

It doesn't mean it had to go anywhere.

But what's stopping it.
