It was a normal Friday night for you. You worked at a journalist company, and you were one of the editors in chief. You loved your job, as it gave you the opportunity to not only write and express yourself, but your co-workers were absolutely amazing. Many of them could call you a close friend of theirs.

But there was one co-worker that stood out more to you than the others.

Shinsou Hitoshi.

He was one of the company's greatest writers, having working there for just under a decade.

You were currently standing next to him as he sat at his desk, as the both of you were reviewing recently published news articles.

"Hmm, it seems like the stock market has gone down again." Shinsou sighs out as he rubs at his eyes, feeling some tiredness set in.

"That's like the third time in three months, how odd." You replied. The sunlight coming in from the sunset through the slightly opened blinds made you start to feel tired as well, but you and Shinsou happened to be working late.

"When was the last time that happened?" He asked as he searched around for more articles.

"Oh gosh, a while ago, at least. Even before we started working here I'm pretty sure." You stretched and made a noise at the feeling of your muscles being moved and stretched out, which, in turn, made Shinsou gently smack your tummy.

"Stop moaning whenever you're stretching, (y/n), it sounds weird as hell." You couldn't see his face, so you didn't know that he was blushing.

"I'm gonna moan whenever and wherever I want, Hitoshi." You smirked knowing that he normally couldn't handle your teasing, which was borderline flirting sometimes.

After stretching, you looked around and noticed how you and Hitoshi were left in the big office building; save for your boss, who wasn't going to stay as late as you two, but usually stayed until most, if not all, of your coworkers went home for the day.

"I can trust you two to close the office building after you're done, right?" Your boss asked the two of you as she left her office.

You smiled at your boss and nodded. "You can trust me at least,"

"Oi, I'm right here!" Shinsou said, which made you and your boss laugh.

"Have a good night you two." She said before waving the both of you goodbye, in which you and Shinsou waved back.

"Don't worry, closing is relatively easy; I've done it plenty of times. Anyways, is this something we should report on do you feel like?"

Shinsou narrowed his eyes at the screen and rubbed his chin in concentration. You then noticed how he appears to be growing out a little stubble.
