Kaitlyn's Perspective:
"Kaitlyn. Your probably pondering why I've kidnapped you, where you are, and who I am," My captor said as his boots thundered the floor below him. His voice was rough and thick, like a dark tone was buried in it's harmonic vibration.
"Yep. That's about right."
"Yeah, well... that would ruin all the fun, wouldn't it?" His sinister laugh echoed throughout green room.
"You know my friends will come for me, right?" I asked, "You can't be that stupid."
"Oh Kaitlyn, that's what I hope for."
Barry's Perspective:
"Got a location," Cisco announced, "3146 Ivory Avenue. It's-" His eyebrows knotted, revealing his confusion.
"What, Cisco?" I asked, jumping to my feet.
"The address isn't in Central City," he looked me square in the eye, "It's in Starling."
"Starling?" I questioned, "Why would they be in Starling?"
"Barry, just find Kaitlyn and get her home," H.R. stated firmly, "Just... save her."
"Alright, suit up!" Cisco exclaimed. His grin spread to his ears, and he made a large forward hand motion with his left arm. In his right, Cisco grabbed a remote, and pressed the circular button on top. The adjacent wall caved in on itself, transforming into my own custom closet containing my scarlet suit. Cisco gets excited about these things, even during the most inappropriate times.
I quickly changed into my suit-in Flash time, of course-and exited Star Labs. I super-speeded through the city, my trail leaving wind-lashed faces and gasps of awe. Once I passed the city limits sign, I kept running into Starling City. Population: 40,523. It's low-at least, for the city-due to the nuclear crisis it was dealt a few weeks ago.
"I'm detecting about fifteen different heat signatures in the warehouse, probably the rest of the hostages," Cisco buzzed in my ear.
"Okay, I'm almost there."
I zoomed inside the abandoned warehouse and scanned the building. No Kaitlyn. No Meta. No hostages.
"Cisco, you sure we have the right place," I panted.
"Um, yeah, I'm pretty sure. My computer never lies." he said confidently.
"No one's here." I double-checked the proximity of the building, but there was no sign of anyone.
"But, that's impossible."
Suddenly, there was a loud, scratching noise on the coms. Interference. Another person had joined our conversation.
"Nothing's impossible, Barry," a unrecognizable voice silenced us. There was more buzzing, more interference.
"Cisco, you still there?" I pressed my earpiece.
No response.
