I scrambled to my feet and looked at my surroundings. I was outside, out of my cell. No longer imprisoned by my cage. My thoughts swirled together, fusing into gibberish and nonsense. I didn't remember escaping; all I remember is lying on the ground, nearly bleeding to death.
A blaring horn interrupted my thoughts, a gush of wind following it's tune. I stood in the middle of the road, at an intersection I didn't recognize.
"I don't think I'm in Central City anymore... " I said dazed, scratching my tangled hair as it swooshed in front of my right eye. My hair was as warm and bright as the sun above me, radiating it's heat in burst of calidity.
Suddenly I had a massive headache; my mind spiraled, sending my brain down the dark drain of a flashback:
A strand of white hair surrounded my head and shoulders, sending icy chills down my spine. I'd already escaped from my cell and stood in front of Iris, the thick, metal bars dividing us.
She pleaded, "Kaitlyn, I know your not yourself, but I'm your best friend, Iris! The one who has been at your side at every heartbreak, and every triumph. Kaitlyn, just get me out of here!"
Someone's else's words came out of my mouth. My voice was strong, but at the same time, it was as delicate as a pianist finger tips as they graze over keys. I-or she- responded snidely, "Correcto! NOT Kaitlyn, which means, I can do this."
She motioned her hands towards Iris' cell. In an instant, a flurry of ice fired out of palms, creating a colossal snow storm around her cage. When the clouds had vanished, a glacier of ice appeared in front of Iris' cell, blocking the exit. I laughed manically and strode out the warehouse.
I returned to reality, and stumbled to the sidewalk. I braced the concrete for support, and gasped for air. I couldn't believe my eyes, the person in my flash back looked identical to me, except she wasn't. I reminded myself: We've dealt with things like this before, maybe it was just one of those situations. It could be my doppelganger who lives on the other side of the globe. Or maybe me from the future*. That couldn't actually be me; I wasn't a meta-human. It's too silly to even consider!
I looked at my reflection in a small puddle nearby, a set of glowing, icy-blue eyes stared back at me. Then, a crooked smile formed on my lips. A whisper echoed in my ear, "Killer Frost."

*One example of this would be Savitar. Savitar is one of the Flash's arch-enemies and whose identity surprised everyone. After putting the pieces together, Barry discovered that Savitar was actually his future self. This is a true interpretation of when the hero becomes the villain.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yay! Killer Frost is finally born! I love this character so much, she is so comical and sarcastic, even when she's about to kill her victim. Lol. Talk about girl power! Anyways, that the daily chapter. We're so close to 200 reads! I cannot thank you enough, readers, for all your support! Okay, that's all, goodbye!
