When princess Katherine of Alfheim finds out she is betrothed to Thor, she believes that her life could not get any worse. That is until she falls in love with Loki.

After I had concluded my bath I got out of the tub and wore my robe. As i did, I heard a knock at my door and went to answer it.
When I opened it, I was surprised to see Loki.
"Is there something wrong Loki?" I asked while he looked me up and down.
"Oh no, nothing is wrong but I must say you look ravishing" he continued eyeing my body.
"And I also wanted to inform you that my mother has prepared a brunch for you, Thor and I, in about roughly fifteen minutes I'm here to escort you if you want to change I'll wait, but if you would rather go in your robe I won't complain." He smirked once again.
"I think I'll change first." I smirked back.
"Ok then, hurry up." He said as he walked into my chambers before proceeding to sit on the window seat.
"Sure come in." I remarked sarcastically as I rolled my eyes.
I then went into my wardrobe and wore a floral gown. When I came out I found Loki looking at the several bottles of perfume on my vanity.
When he saw me he unsurprisingly smirked and said, "I liked the robe better but that's good too."
"Thank you I'm flattered you think so."
"So, are you ready now?" he asked me impatiently.
"No, I need to do my hair first." I told him while sitting on the chair in front of my vanity.
"why do your hair when you can do me instead?" He expressed bluntly.
"Excuse me?"
"Come on," he whispered into my ear "you know you want to."
"No, I don't, and you are way too cocky," I told him pushing him away, But my choice of words only led him to smirk.
I started brushing my hair with Loki's eyes glued onto me. I just hope that Thor isn't as cocky and arrogant as Loki.
"Oh no, Thor is far worse than I am," Loki stated.
"Get out of my head Loki!"
Loki laughed at my annoyance and continued, "just wait, he will start by complimenting you, then he will start talking about his accomplishments bragging about his victories and the battles he won."
"Can he read my mind?" I asked.
"No, Thor is a talentless oaf. Without his hammer, all he is is a lump of muscle with an incredibly good-looking brother."
" At least he won't be sneaking around my mind." I muttered causing Loki to laugh.
"Well, I am ready. Should we get going?" I stood up and Loki held my hand.
"Yes, let's go."

When we arrived at the gardens Loki and I got ourselves seated at the small round table and waited for Thor.
"Aren't we ten minutes late?" I asked Loki.
"We are, but Thor always comes late, I'm not sure if he does it as a dramatic entrance or if it's just part of his nature, neither would really shock me." Loki answered.
"I have arrived!" Came a loud deep voice from behind me.
"Hello princess Kathrine! You look beautiful!"
"Hello Prince Thor, but please, you can just call me Katherine." I answered being left a little startled by his loud tone.
"Brother remember we spoke of this before, inside voice" Loki reminded him.
"But brother, we are not inside." Thor stated confused.
"That doesn't change the fact that we are seated mere centimetres from you, you do not need to shout as if we are in a battle." Loki told him instantly regretting the mention of the word battle.
"Ah yes battle, Katherine have I ever told you about the time I single-handedly defeated an army of dark elves?" Thor asked me.
"No, this is our first discussion" I reminded him.
"Well, that means I get to tell you about all my victories and let me assure you there are plenty of them." He gloated.
I think I prefer Loki's cockiness rather than Thor's boasting. I thought as I pretended to listen to Thor's war stories.
'I'm glad you think so, and I hate to say this but, I told you so'. said Loki's voice in my head.
I glared at Loki earning a wink from him before continuing to fake listening to Thor.
After what seemed like forever Loki stood up from his chair "I think Katherine and I have both gotten sick of your stories Thor, I am going for a walk. Katherine, would you care to join me?"
"Sure. Goodbye Thor, it was a pleasure to meet you"
"Goodbye Katherine." Grinned Thor.
I stood up as well and Loki put a hand on my waist as we walked back into the castle.
"I thought he would never shut up."
"I didn't understand a thing he said' I laughed.
"Neither did I" Loki laughed with me.
We soon came to a halt. Loki twisted the hand of a nearby statue which revealed a secret tunnel.
