11- Busted

CHAPTER 11

"Brother, I can explain." Loki broke the silence.

"Explain what? You have been sleeping with my fiancé behind my back!" Thor roared.

"No, I haven't. Even if I did, why would it matter? You're still with Jane! Heck, she doesn't even know your engaged!" Loki yelled back at him standing up.

"That is none of your business Loki!" Thor yelled throwing a nearby vase onto the floor, shattering it into a million pieces.

"Then this is none of your business!"

"I will tell father about the two of you!" Thor threatened.

"Go ahead! As you do I will tell Jane about the wedding! Has she received her invitation yet?"

"If you go near Jane, I swear I will cut your-"

"Can the both of you please calm down!" I stepped in between them. "Thor, we didn't do anything wrong. I got drunk and slept here. And besides, our engagement is arranged! I can be with whomever I want, the same way you are with Jane! So, don't you dare scold us for something you are guilty of doing as well!" I argued.

"I am going to end things with her eventually." Thor told us looking to the floor, not daring to make eye contact.

"Good." I simply said before leaving the room.

I went into my chambers and decided to take a bath.

As I sat in the bath filled with bubbles. I rethought the events of this morning. I knew it was wrong kissing Loki, but it just felt so right. Besides Thor was being a hypocrite. How is it that he can bring his girlfriend to Asgard, to our engagement ball, without her even knowing what was truly going on? And how come compared to that, Loki and me kissing is frowned upon? But from now on I do not care what they think, if I want to be with Loki, then I shall be with Loki. Until the wedding at least.

Love is a bitch.

"It truly is." Came Loki's voice from behind.

I looked up at him to see him smiling down at me. "May I join you?" Loki smirked.

"Be my guest." I smirked back.

Loki stripped himself of his clothes and stepped inside the huge tub. I looked away and averted my gaze to the marble tiles on the bathroom floor.

"Are you embarrassed?" Loki smirked once more.

"No" I lied.

"In that case..." Loki started before connecting his lips with mine.

I smiled into the kiss as I pulled him closer to me.

It was moments like these that kept me sane. I forgot about the engagement, about Thor and Jane, about getting caught kissing Loki. The only thing on my mind was Loki.

Our naked bodies moved against each other, our eyes full of desire. his hands roamed around my naked body and mine roamed around his hard chest. It was like a fantasy.

After a rather steamy bath, the both of us got dressed and decided to go eat something.

We settled for having lunch outside. We sat at the round table in the palace gardens, the same place that we brunched with Thor when I first arrived.

"What are we going to do Loki?" I sighed.

"I will speak to my father. You can't marry that oaf. I will do everything in my power to get my father to reconsider the decision. If his opinion doesn't differ I will take matters into my own hands and kidnap you."

I giggled at his determination.

"Sounds like a plan." I held his hand.

"Oh, there you two are." Frigga's gentle voice came out from behind me.

"Mother." "Frigga." Loki and I greeted Frigga.

"What was the yelling coming from your chambers this morning Loki? Your father and I heard you and Thor arguing." Frigga asked concerned.

"We got into an argument." Loki answered hesitantly.

"About?"

"We can discuss it at a later date."

Frigga then turned to me "Would you be free to join me for tea tomorrow, dear?"

"Of course." I smiled up at her.

"Excellent." Frigga smiled before bidding farewell and leaving.

"You're nervous." Loki pointed out.

"I have a dress fitting in a week for the wedding. Once the dress is complete the wedding invitations will go out. I don't want to marry Thor, I want to tell your parents as soon as possible" I admitted.

"I plan to speak to my father about it while you're at tea with my mother. Don't fret, we will get through this."

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too."
