Dress she wears in the morning before fitting.^^^
CHAPTER 9
The next morning, I felt refreshed and happy until I recalled last nights events. Part of me was overjoyed that I finally kissed Loki. But another part of me hated myself for wanting Loki when I was supposed to marry his brother in a few short months.
When my maids came in with my breakfast I could barely find myself to eat. I had lost my appetite. After eating what I could I got out of bed and dressed in a blue gown, I wonder if Loki would like it, I thought to myself. Wait, why do I care if he likes my gown or not?
I don't care, I told myself if Loki doesn't like my dress he can deal with it. After convincing myself that I didn't care about Loki's approval I made my way to the tailor's workshop.

"Could you take off your dress dear, so I can take your measurements?" The tailor requested.
I did as she said and took it off leaving me in only in my undergarments. Moments after much to my dismay, Loki walked in.
"Get out Loki!" I yelled at him.
"Wow, I knew I was irresistible, but you didn't need to undress to get my attention." He remarked while eyeing my body head to toe.
"Get out!" I yelled at him again.
"I would much rather stay. Besides, I have somewhere to be so I need to have my fitting now."
"You're unbelievable." I groaned giving up.
"Unbelievably handsome." He smirked.
"Whatever. You were supposed to come after me."
"Why can't we just come together?" he asked smirking, and I had a feeling he wasn't talking about the fitting.
When the tailor finished she gave me the green gown, and I went to put it on behind the curtain that she uses as a dressing room.
When I came out from behind the curtain I saw that Loki was shirtless. He wasn't huge like Thor, but he had an undeniably good body. His lean muscular body and defined muscles left me aghast. Then the tailor, much to my disappointment, covered my view with his leather coat.
Loki caught me staring and smirked. "Enjoying the view?"
"I was, but then you stood in front of the mirror and blocked it." I told him smirked back.
He laughed at my cockiness.
After the tailor finished attending to my dress, I changed back and walked up to Loki to peck his cheek.
"I'll see you at the ball." I smirked at Loki, who was dumbfounded before leaving and returning to my chambers.

I don't know what was coming over me. Maybe I'm getting sick. Why am I so obsessed with Loki? I shouldn't be feeling like this.
I stared at my reflection and took a deep breath in and out. I could do this, I told myself.
Just as I was walking out the door, Loki came out of his chambers too. I was left captivated by him in his black, green and gold attire.
"Good evening, Katherine. I must say, you look exquisite." Loki greeted.
"Good evening, Loki. Thank you. You look good as well."
"Shall we get going?" he asked offering his hand.
"Yes, we shall." I smiled, taking his hand.
~*~
When we walked in all eyes were on us. I wasn't sure if they were staring because I was with the prince of Asgard, or because I was with the wrong prince.
Turning up to my engagement ball with another man is not exactly admirable. As Loki and I walk further into the room the gaze of those around us deepen. Thankfully when Thor walks in everyone averts their eyes to him.
"What's she doing here?" Loki asked in annoyance.
"Who?" I questioned.
"The mortal girl that Thor is ever so fond of." Loki sneered in disgust.
"Jane?"
"I don't know what he sees in her. Their relationship makes no sense, especially now that he has brought her to celebrate his engagement to another woman." He explained shaking his head.
"Yes, that's rather peculiar." I agreed.
"Loki! Katherine!" Thor's voice boomed in the room as he and Jane made their way towards us. "I have someone I would like you to meet!"
"This is jane!" Thor introduced gesturing to the woman beside him.
"Hi, it is so nice to meet you" Smiled Jane as she reached out to shake my hand.
"Hello, it's wonderful to finally put a face to the name. Thor speaks quite fondly of you." I smiled back trying my best to be polite.
"Wow, he talks about me?" she smiled up at Thor.
"So, will you be staying till the wedding?" I asked her, attempting to keep the conversation going.
"Wedding? Is someone getting married?" Jane asked confused.
"Yes, Thor-"
"We should probably get going!" interrupted Thor loudly panic clear in his expression.
"Bu-" Jane tried to speak.
"Let's go outside into the gardens! They are beautiful this time of year!" Thor suggested to Jane.
"Okay..." Jane gave in suspicious.
"Great! See you around you two!" Thor departed.
Once they had left Loki and I turned towards each other taking in what had just occurred.
"She doesn't know!" I panicked.
"Its fine, I'm sure he will tell her soon." Loki reassured.
"If he doesn't, I will."
"If he doesn't, we can tell her together." Loki smiled placing his hand on my upper arm reassuringly. "Until then," Loki continued "Let's dance."
"If you insist." I smiled at him, letting him lead me towards the couples slow dancing.
We swayed together to the music throughout the whole night talking and laughing, before we retreated to get a drink.
From what started off as one drink slowly turned to three, which turned to six.
Loki was surprisingly still sober, whereas I, on the other hand, could barely stand.
"Lokiiiiii!" I sang stroking his face while taking another sip from my drink.
"Okay, that's enough drinks for you." Loki the buzzkill said as he removed the drink from my hand.
"We should get you to bed." He told me pulling me towards the exit.
