"Boys," Brian says rather awkwardly, darting his eyes to between Maureen and I, "We're headed to New York first."

"Wow, New York!" I exclaim, excited and hopeful. "I've never been."

"It's really just a hassle." Ringo says, chuckling as Paul looks at me, smiling.

"I've arranged three rooms between the four of you so you decide how that's going to work." Brian says.

"Maureen and I would like our own room." Ringo says, more to us. "John should have his own room too since he's got Julian."

Paul groans. "So I gotta share with George?"

I rub Paul's arm. "Paul, come on. I can imagine that George feels lonely." Everyone here has a partner except George. I wonder if he wants someone to spend the lonely nights with.

"Whatever." Paul laughs slightly as he sees me raise an eyebrow. The car moves up over a bump and I move away from Paul.

I rest my head on the window as we round the airport. Our driver parks the car and allows us to leave. I hop out, holding the door open for Paul, Maureen and Ringo.

I take my luggage and Paul's. Paul hands Ringo their luggage.

"Then I said, the bloody bastard going to get me killed!" I hear John say behind me, I suppose emerging from a conversation. Both cars drive away as I turn around to face the rest of the group.

"Hello." George says to me, bowing slightly as I laugh. I smell his strawberry cologne once more and melt. I can't believe he's wearing it.

"George, you're sharing a room with Carol and I." Paul says, starting to walk with the others as George and I follow behind.

"My arse hurts." George jokes, as I laugh. I wonder if he is bothered by sharing a room with us. Being with newlyweds must be annoying, especially if you've got no one to share the nights with...Why am I even thinking these things?

"It was a pretty long car ride." I smile, and George takes my luggage.

"Oh no George, you don't have to-"

"Hush now, I want to."

George looks ahead with a sincere face and I look down, blushing. Why is he acting this way?

"So, how's was your night with Macca?" George asks, not making eye contact as we continue to walk. I don't really know how to respond - it's a pretty awkward question.

"It was alright. Nothing to brag about." I laugh a little as George smirks. The others turn a corner as we follow.

"I suppose you two are steady now?"

"Yes." I say, wondering why George is being so serious instead of casual like he normally is. I decide to brush it off. George is always a mystery to me.

We arrive at the luggage carrier and drop off our things, heading into the plane.

"Love, let's sit together." Paul says, kissing my cheek quickly as he pulls me onto the plane. I look at it in awe as I grin.

"Wow, a private plane." I say as Paul smirks.

"Quite private. Even has small compartments."

Paul opens one and steps inside, dancing a bit as I laugh, pulling me in and hugging me tightly.

"God, I love you Carol."

I hear Paul's words whispered into my ear and I turn red. I wonder if I love Paul. If feels awkward to say I love the James I knew since I was a child. I walk outside with Paul after a while, eyeing the others. There are no seats on the plane. I wonder why.

"Carol." George says, sitting down cross legged in a corner. I head over to him as Paul joins John and Julian with Ringo.

"George." I imitate, making him laugh.

"I have to ask you something."

I look down at the ground before sitting down. "Good ahead."

"Do you remember anything from the night of your wedding?"

I look at George, squinting my eyes.

"Its all kinda fuzzy, George. Why? Did something happen that should concern me?"

George shakes his head and then speaks. Something did happen - I know it.

"Actually, I might as well tell you. We kissed."

I look at George with wide eyes and cover my mouth, making sure no one around us can hear.

"We kissed?"

George nods and chuckles.

"You know, normally a kiss doesn't mean too much to me but I'm afraid I can't let this one go."

I look at George as he looks at me, his dark eyes threatening mine as I prepare myself for his words.

"I can't stop thinking about it and its making me crazy." George says, burying his head in his hands.

"Oh George. I'm sorry." I say, rubbing his back. I mentally scold myself for forgetting something so important. Why would such a situation even arise? On my wedding night of all times. This is not good news...or is it?

George lifts his head so we're inches apart.

"Why don't you think about leaving Paul for me?"

I look around the room and laugh as no one seems to have heard that. What is George implying?

"George, are you insane? I'm with Paul." I say. What is up with Paul and his friends? None of  them seem to have contain an ounce of common sense.

"Kiss me again Carol, please." George says as I see his face turn red. George has only ever treated me this way on the day I met him.

"George, are you drunk?" I ask as I see evidence of it in his voice and posture. He must of drunk in the cab.

"Oh dear." I say, lifting George up so that no one hears what he's babbling and I lead him to one of the small compartments. I can't believe I am doing this.

"Carol." George closes the door and smirks. "Come on here to Georgie."

I laugh a bit at him and shake my head.

"Sit down."

He listens and does so, hiccuping as he pulls me down with him. He stares at me and I look away awkwardly. He moves closer and I back away slightly. I hit my head on the wall and George closes the space between us.

"Give me a kiss."

George places his rough lips on mine, and I widen my eyes. At first I push him away, but my lips keep in sync with his as I don't want to stop.

I push him away finally. I'm with Paul - this is not good. I'm not going to turn into my mother.

"George, this can't happen again." I whisper slightly as I look around. Thank god the doors are closed.

"Okay. Let me enjoy this time then."

George leans in to kiss me one more time.
