"Brian said what?" Paul asks, his attention turning to me as he leans against the drawer in our room. I shift uncomfortably as I laugh.
"He wants us to have a child." I say, as I slip on a red dress and brush my wet hair. I want to look good for Paul tonight.
Paul sighs and fixes his tie, making his way over to me. I look into his hazel eyes as he leans close to me, his arms constricting me to a limited space as he hovers slightly over me.
"When the time comes, we will start a family." Paul says, his eyes softening as I smile. I'm glad Paul feels the same way. It just feels too unnatural.
"I love you." I say, as Paul smiles and hugs me. I smell his fresh cologne and close my eyes. I feel the soft fabric of his suit and relax. He looks amazing, as always, and I hold him close.
"As do I, my love."
Paul softens his eyes as he kisses me, and I smile into the kiss.
Seconds later his suit is off again.

"You look great girls." Ringo says, as I walk down with the rest of the women in our group.
"Thank you." I say, blushing as Cynthia and Maureen smile. They rush us off to a separate room as The Beatles begin to set up onstage. I can hear the females from here.
"Why can't we go out and watch them?" I ask, as Cynthia sits down with Julian. Maureen laughs and brushes through her hair.
"You're more than welcome to, although you may have trouble finding your way back."
I look at Maureen and cough. She does have a point. I've lost myself before in large crowds and am not too fond of it.
"Is starting a family difficult?" I ask out loud, causing both Cynthia and Maureen to look at me.
"What's with the odd question, Carol? Something biting ya?" Maureen says, laughing. I join in, as Cynthia fixes her dress.
"Brian suggested Paul and I start a family." I say, as Cynthia and Maureen shake their heads.
"Oh no. Once Brian is set on something..." Cynthia says, causing me to gulp. I sit next to her as she holds my hand. "Don't rush into things, darling. You will know when your time is right."
"Does George know?" Maureen says, causing me to turn my attention towards her.
"No."
I shift my feet uncomfortably. Why would I tell George? I mean, despite him being my friend, I wouldn't think telling him would be a priority.
"Good. Don't tell him, you'll break his little heart." Maureen finishes, causing me to become curious.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't act coy now. You know George has taken an interest in you."
I look down and hug my chest.
"Yes, I know..."
"I prefer George over Paul." Maureen says, smirking. "If I had a choice."
"I think Paul is the better match for Carol, Mo." Cynthia says, smiling at me as I smile back.
Is he?
I let my thoughts trail to the sound of my favorite boys playing music.

"Good golly, Miss Molly. I want to sleep." Paul says, falling onto the bed. I laugh as I finish slipping on my night gown.
"Go ahead. Who's stopping you?"
Paul smirks and jumps up, making his way towards me.
"I'm not going to bed just yet, baby. I've got a hunger."
I laugh and move away from him, but he keeps his trail. He begins chasing me around the room.
"Paul! Paul!" I say, laughing and running around. I hear Paul laugh, reaching his hands out for me as he chases me. I stumble on some luggage on the floor, and Paul follows behind me. Next thing I know, I'm staring up at Paul's face.
"How's the view down there?" Paul says, and I smirk.
"I've seen better, you know."
"Have you? It doesn't get much better." Paul says, his face inches from mine. I laugh and pull his head down to kiss me. We stay that way for a long while before the door knocks.
"Always ruining the fun." Paul says, winking as he jumps up, grabbing my hand. I follow soon after and join Paul at the door.
"George? What brings you here so late?" Paul says, and I wave to George. He waves back and smiles.
"I don't mean to ruin your fun, but me and Tina are trying to sleep."
Tina?
"Who's Tina?" I ask before thinking. George makes eye contact with me as he answers.
"Just some bird I've picked up."
I feel my stomach drop, and I look to Paul. I smile to soften the blow although my heart breaks a little.
"We'll keep it quiet. See you in the morning." Paul says, as he closes the door on George. I look down to the floor. Paul holds me close as he whispers.
"So where were we?"
I look up at Paul as he smiles.
For the second time that day, our clothes were off and George's notice complaints weren't listened to.
