"Don't worry, love." George says, looking at me. "We'll find him."

I nod my head, looking around as Brian leans against the wall. He takes out a notepad and starts writing on it. Cynthia and Maureen head into John's room to take care of Julian. John and Brian converse quietly as I look at the two of them.

"What's that?" I ask George, referring to what Brian is holding.

Georg chuckles as he stands next to me. I look up at him and notice how tall he is, his skinny figure looming over me as his eyes catch mine.

"Brian keeps a book of all the times we've been late. He says it calms him."

I turn my attention back to Brian as he continues writing. I bet there's more to that book than he's letting on. As much as I want to know more, we have to find Paul before it gets dark outside.

"What should we do about Paul?" I say, turning my attention back to George. He smirks and I feel my heart skip a beat.

"None of us can go out looking. First, we don't know Boston. Second, were The Beatles." He says, rather proudly as I look at my feet.

"I can go looking."

"Don't be silly." John says, joining in our conversation. My attention is brought to him and I notice his light eyes soften They're rather enticing and I look away.

"I have eyes." I say, rather wittingly as John chuckles at my expense.

"I know you do, love."

I look away quickly, the conversation getting slightly awkward. Before I can say another word, the door to the stairs open and Paul comes out.

"'Hello." He says, rather happily as Brian raises his eyebrows. George and John sight softly beside me and I look away from him. What has he got up his sleeve?

"Good to see you, and not a minute late. Let's go." Brian looks to us and motions for us to follow him.

I look at Paul as he avoids eye contact with me. I attempt to join the group but Paul intertwines.

"She doesn't need to come, of course." Paul says, his hazel eyes meeting mine once more.

"Paul-"

"Quiet, George. Isn't that what your good at?"

Paul turns his back to me and I stop walking. The rest of the group continues forward as I look at the ground. What an asshole.

"Come on, Carol. Its no fun without you."

I look up to see George and he smiles sympathetically. I'm always relying on the kindness of George.

"Its ok, George. Go have fun." Paul never told me what we were doing tonight anyways.

"I can't go to an interview without my favorite girl around." George says, placing his rough hands on mine. I look up at him, and sigh.

"Paul doesn't-"

"Paul doesn't matter right now. You're my date, are you not? I can already guess that you guys fought about him flirting with the tour guide. This would be pretty good revenge...and it would be a little fun, no?"

I look into Georges eyes, trying to find any reason why he's being so kind. I can guess it's because of his feelings for me which causes me to feel even more guilty.

"I'm married." I say, causing George to laugh.

"Married, I see. But are you in love?"

George brings my head up and smiles, causing my heart to skip a beat once more.
