5: Did I Promised?

Haesoo's POV

"Eomma, why didn't you told me these?" I asked.

"I really wanted to, even Jimin. But it will affect your condition that time. The doctor said don't force you" My mom said.

"But I recovered now"

"I know sweetie, but we chose to keep it secret from you. We chose to keep you away from Jimin. We left Jimin and he decided to just let you go even if it's hard for him"

"I'm sorry Eomma, I yelled at you. I just can't control myself. I've been this curious for a week." I said.

"I know, I'm sorry too. Because we kept it from you. You deserve to know but we didn't tell you. If we did, you and Jimin are still friends now"

"It's okay Eomma, thank you for telling me. I'll go to sleep now" I said calmly.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Mom asked.

"I'm okay mom. Just leave me food there"

"Okay, good night". I just nodded in response.

I jumped in my bed and video called Xiaoyou. It's already 8:56 PM. How long did I chat with my mom?

"Xiaoyou?"

"Ne?"

"I miss you, come home now" I cried playfully.

"Aissh! This kid. I just arrived you know!"

"You come home immediately huh?"

"Ne. Bogo shipda"

"Nado. Good night. I'm tired"

"Ok. Don't stress yourself, take care and study hard. Good night, I love you"

"I love you too~" I said in tired voice.

"Bye" She hunged up.

This day is so tiring. How will I face Jimin? Will I talk to him about my past? Will I accept him as my bestfriend again? Aissh. Can I sleep now, God?

Just by thinking about my past, I fell asleep.

I got up from my bed and ready myself at school. I didn't eat dinner so I'm very hungry. After I ate my breakfast mom made for me, I bid her goodbye.

While waiting for a bus at bus stop. I saw a car, wahh! The car is so beautiful. The car stopped in front of me. Then the car window went down. I gasped when I saw the person inside.

"Ms. Jin, go inside and I'll drive you to school". He said.

"No, I can find a bus" I refused. He opened his car and went outside. He removed his shades and wow! He's so handsome.

"Ms. Jin, you can come in" He pleaded me. My body let me in. He opened the car door and let me sit, then he hop in and drive.

"From now on, I'll pick you up and send you home" Jimin said.

"Why?" I asked.

"I'm your bestfriend right?"

"NO"

"I'm your bestfriend" He repeated.

"NO"

"YES"

"NO"

"YES"

"ANIYO"

"I'm still your bestfriend. You promised it to me right?"

"I haven't"

"You always broke your promise". Those words he said broke my heart into pieces.

Something flashed in my mind that made my head ached.

Flashback

"Haesoo~ Promise to me, I will be your bestfriend 'til we die. Until we have our boyfriends and girlfriends. Until we got engaged and married. Until we have kids with our wife and husband" Jimin said.

"PROMISE"

"Haesoo? Gwaenchanha?" Jimin asked. "I'm okay. I'm fine" I said. After that flashback flashed into my mind, I remembered my last dream, I promised something to a boy. I think that boy was Jimin

"Yah! Did I promised you something?" I asked.

"Yes, you promised me you will never leave me, but you did" He kept looking on the road. What? That's the one I promised to a boy in my dream! It's him!

"I don't remember" I said in sarcastic tone.

"Because you forgotten everything about me" he paused. "By the way, Did your Mom told you everything?" He continued and I nodded.

"Do you remember me again?" He said happily like someone cheered him up.

"NO" His expression immediately changed. He didn't even responded to me.

After a long trip, I mean a short trip, we reached school. Wahh! Did I woke up early? There's no one here. Ommo? Am I late again?

I ran 'till I reached our room. There's no one. I checked my phone. It's 6:03 AM. Yes! We're not late. The class starts at 8 today because it's Saturday. Why did I go to school so early?

"Yah. It's early" He said panting.

"Why are you catching your breath?" I asked.

"I ran after you! Ofcourse! You run as fast as bunnies!" He exclaimed.

"Did I say you run after me?" I sarcastically said.

"No" I just rolled my eyes. You see? I'm bad.

"What will you gonna say to me?" He asked.

"About what?" I asked him too.

"Are you slow?!" He yelled.

"Gomawo" I said.

"Very good" he mumbled. Then, he ruffled my hair as if I'm a puppy.

"Yah! Don't mess my hair pabo!" I said.

"What did you say?" He said in his husky voice.

"Pabo" (pabo means stupid in Korean)

"What?"

"P-A-B-O PABO"

After what I said he grabbed my wrist. "Yah! Don't touch me!" I tried to resist but his grip hurts me making me loose my strength. "I'm pabo?" He asked then I nod. He looked around and noticed that there's no one.

All I know that I was pinned into a wall. His face getting nearer and nearer. I felt my face heats up. Is he gonna? Ki-- no! Haesoo! Don't think about shitty things.

I can feel his breath. Eotteokhae? I need him to let me go.

"Yah! Let me go!" I tried to resist but it's useless.
