They had had it, Deku had had enough of all this crap. (Y/n), Bakugou, Kirishima, Todoroki, and the rest of the league had been on the loose for far too long. Too many lives had been lost, and this, this was way beyond the last straw.

These thoughts scurried through the young heroes as they wept and consoled one another at the grave of another lost comrade. Goddamnit, Deku thought, they already got Mineta, and Present Mic died from the hit to his head when they were in high school.

Deku let out an agonized scream as he looked up at the sky, mourning the loss of one of his best friends. Both Ingeniums had met unwanted fates, both unable to be saved when they needed help. Uraraka balled her eyes out with him as they stood by his grave.

'Rest in peace, Tenya 'Ingenium' Iida, a loving boyfriend, an amazing best friend, the world's greatest brother, and most of all, a wonderful hero until the end.'

Deku couldn't help but think back to his first year in high school. He couldn't help but remember back then, back to the time when they were so innocent. Back in time, when they laughed and worked with one another happily. But most importantly, back to the time before this mess.

The rest of the class continued to wail with them, swearing on their own graves that they would end this. The total and other chaos caused by the League of Villains sub-group, Mayhem, would be stopped. Even if it was the last thing he accomplished, Deku pledged to put a stop to them all— to the man who broke his heart, to the man who ruined his childhood, to the man who left him in the dust, and to the man who destroyed his trust. (Y/n) (L/n), Katsuki Bakugou, Shouto Todoroki, and Eijiro Kirishima would not get away with this.

Deku felt a large hand on his shoulder as the rain poured down. He looked behind him, being met with the saddened eyes and bony face of his former mentor. "How are you holding up?" the former hero known as All Might questioned.

"He won't away with this," Deku stated, ignoring the question.

"Young Midoriya," All Might said, "do not act of revenge, but for justice. You are better than those four, so show it."

Am I really..?

"But sir," Deku looked down and balled his fist, "have you not seen it? Our world's heroes, our friends are dying! First Present Mic, then Mineta, and now Iida! They aren't stopping!"

"Then stop them, young Midoriya, but do not do so out of revenge." All Might knew how Deku was feeling.

Deku frowned and turned away. He looked up, noticing the looks on the faces of three of his classmates. The three who didn't shed a tear; Mina Ashido, Hanta Sero, and Denki Kaminari. They had already felt the utmost despair their beings could handle.

The pain of hearing that four of your friends were kidnapped, the mourning after hearing they were dead, the false joy of seeing them alive, the absolute crush of realizing they came back to betray you, and the melancholy of knowing they have murdered others you care for. The three of them seemed to just be shells of the people Deku met on his first day.

And once again, Deku couldn't help but look back to so long ago. Mina was bustling with joy, Kaminari was a firecracker of energy, and Sero was all smiles. Now, though, they just looked the part. No one would know that Kaminari blew fuses to escape his troubles, or that Mina was slowly starting to take fewer jobs, much less that Sero always had tape, or rather bandages wrapped around his wrists.

Deku kicked the rock by his feet, wiping his tears. He was finished weeping for his losses, he needed to act upon his anger rather than let it all out in salt water. Deku clenched the connector rod in his pocket as he glanced back at Iida's grave. It had fallen out of his engines when he passed. Deku punched the tree beside him, careful not to use his quirk.

(Y/n) Will Pay...

(I'm back guys! I know it took a while to get out, but I've been working on a lot of school stuff plus I have another story that I'm working on. I'll get this out as often as possible, and I'll make a schedule soon enough. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, and make sure to recommend songs for the chapters! I listen to a song on repeat while writing chapters, as that is where the inspiration comes from, so make sure to give me ideas! Thanks to IcyHotHero for recommending Wolf In Sheep's clothing! Also, if you request a song, please, not too much cussing, that's Bakugou's job. Lastly, make sure you give me feedback, and if you're a little confused, this is the second book in my series. The first book it called Remix, but if you can't find it then feel free to look on my profile. Bye!)
