10. The Past

♥LISA POV ♥

I woke up and felt a little headache, I got up from my bed dragging myself to the bathroom. After ready I went to downstairs. The gang are outside chilling on the pool including Nayeon and her friends. I walked to the living room where I saw Jennie sitting there alone while eating.

I sat next to her without saying a words. I wasn't in a good mood tho, I knew I was selfish, hearing Jennie said she wasn't mine made my feeling hurt but it's not her fault because I can't force her to feel the same way. Right?

We were sitting there almost 5 minutes without speaking then..

"Are you sick?" Jennie asked breaking the silence

"No" I said coldly

"You haven't eaten breakfast right? Eat this" She said as offered me a plate of pancakes

"Thanks"

"Let's go to the pool after eating"

"No, I can't swim"

"Alight!.. Ummm Lisa, may I know about your trauma? Just curious. But it's okay if you don't wanna tell" She asked smiled

"I almost drowned"

"That's the only reason? I've also experienced it but I'm just fine after that" She said

"Yes, almost die drowned because someone wanted to kill me when I was a kid. And it's not the same as what you experienced" I said coldly

"Oh God, sorry, I don't know if it's that bad, are you okay?" She said looked at me worriedly

"No, I'm not okay, I'm scared everytime I'm in the water. Feels like someone gonna kill me anytime"

"Ummm.. I see"

"Jennie, come here and swim with us before we back to Seoul" Jisoo yelled from outside

"Let's go lisa, no need to swim just sit on the edge" She said standing up showed her gummy smile while holding my hands dragged me to the pool

"I thought you two were fighting" Seulgi said

"What a beautiful couple" Irene said

"Thank you, I know we were" I said proudly

Then I heard a girl voice called Jennie and it was Nayeon

"Hai Jen" Nayeon greeted

"Hi" Jennie greeted her back and I removed my hand from her

"Hi Lisa" Nayeon greeted me as well

"Hi Nayeon" I greeted her back smiled fakely. I can see how Jennie body is started to tense seeing her ex now

"Umm.. Jennie you can go to swim with them. I will go inside" I said and Jennie didn't answer. Just looked at me raised her brow like asked me if I'm okay.

"I'm okay, I'm gonna take a rest. I'm a bit dizzy because I drink too much last night" I said as looked at her smiled

We looked at each other. Jennie seems confused. So I gently caressed her hair then she nodded slightly.

I left the pool walked off into living room again, I can't help myself to be there. I don't wanna make my mood getting worse. So instead of back to the living room. I'm back to my room upstairs. I don't can't see Jennie there with her ex girlfriend even though Jisoo, Rose and the others are there too
