It was a one sided love when we began so we gave up tried to be friends, you had lots of love, you wanted to give and you gave me a reason to want to live, but I knew my mistake about two weeks in because it felt like I was caged by your, love all over again, and it scares me that you make it hard to breathe in the worst of ways, and I need you to let go, so I can do this on my own and I don't need you standing that close if you love me you'll leave me alone because I can't keep being smothered by your love smothered by your love, and it's not fair that I keep lying but it was too much to bare and to hard to hide it had no one else, so I shared my pain with you then I couldn't turn back, so I kept the lie going and you left me with no way of knowing which of us has the most to lose, so what are we going to do because I'm a bomb, thats ticking down, and you just like having me around my heart's locked, and I lost the key, it will never really be you and me and I need you to let go, so I can do this on my own and I don't need you standing that close, if you love me, you'll leave me alone, because, I cant keep being smothered, by your love.
