Chapter 7

"Great work everybody! Really great! Groups that are preforming tonight- get lots of rest so your refreshed for the show." Susan announcced. "Now, where are my girls, hmm?" She continued slightly quieter. Christina, Shauna,Marlene and I all exchanged al look and rolled our eyes, knowing it was us Susan was looking for. She was constantly checking in on us sepratley from the rest of the groups. Much to the other YouTubers dismay, we were undeniably the most popular group on tour. Im not saying that to be conceited- we simply have the most subscribers. A few people gave us dirty-envious- looks they walked toward they exit. The four of us pushed through the crowd to Susan who was waiting for us. 

"Ah! There you are! I wanted to make sure you're ready for the special encore tonight." I could practically feel the excitement radiating off of her. the rest of us however, did not share the feeling. We had more of an Oh Shit feeling. We forgot.

"O-Oh, yes. We're totally ready." Chris replied

"But its a surprise!" I added quickly. "Our song choice I mean. We should go run through it once more actually." I said before she could ask anymore questions, and dragged the girls out of the building. We walked back to the bus in silence, and collapsed on the couch.We all suddenly spoke at once.

"Crap."

"We totally forgot."

"We're so dead."

"Now what?"

See, the problem is tonight is a special preformance. It marks the start of our last week on tour, so we we're changing up the preformances. Not only would they be streamed live on our channel, but the encores are going to be dedications. Yup, just like the theme of our channel. we have to pick a song and dedicate it to someone. Problem is- we didnt plan a dedication. And we need to by tonight.

I glanced at my phone and sighed seeing the time. "Guys ill be back soon to help brainstorm. But i promised Caleb I'd call him after rehersal and he's going to worry if I dont." I said.

They mumbled in acknowledgement, and started talking about song choices as I headed to the back room. Caleb picked up on the second ring.

Now, I know what your thinking.Hasn't caleb been MIA Since the whole "Father On Trial" Ordeal. Well basically he's been busy traveling with school for different scholarships, or something like that. Doing whatever it is geniuses do. For a while after he found out about what dad did, he didnt know how to act around me. It was like, He thought if he said oe wrong thing I would completely unravel.

But Now that we're both travelling so much, we realize how much we miss each other. we're  back to the way we were when we were younger. I could talk to him about anything now. Halfway through our converstaion, he paused suddenly.

"Tris.. have you or your friends posted on your channel lately?" 

"Umm, well we posted a few video blogs at the beginning of the tour."

"But what about after that?"
