"Wait, so what were his exact words?"

I sigh and repeat for the third time, "He said: 'I'm going to make you fall in love with me all over again.'"

Christina snorts. "No offense, but I don't even know how you fell for him in the first place. Your boyfriend is not the nicest crayon in the box, you know?"

Biting my nail, I say "We're not together, Chris." I decide not to correct her about the 'nicest crayon' expression, and ignore the insult.

"I know, but.." she pauses. "You guys have always been together. Even when you're not officially together. Do you know what I mean?" She asks.

No. Not really.

"I guess. I'm pulling into the parking lot right now."

"Kay." she responds "I'm just getting out of the car, see you in a few."

I sigh for what seems like the tenth time during the drive to school. It's been just over a week since Four told me he was going to "fight for me."

However since then, nothing has changed. Were just friends again. Real friends. Like before Al, before Us. Before any of the drama.

So, I really don't know what that means anymore. We started dating after he helped me when I was at my weakest. Its not like he made up some elaborate plan to "woo me" or whatever girls seem to want. Well, I'll admit our first date was a little elaborate, but still.

We just, fell together. Like pieces of a puzzle. everything is different now though. I'm at my strongest, not weakest state.

At least I was, until what I'm referring to as "The Beach Speech." Now my head is jumbled. Mostly I just wish he would realize that I'm not even mad anymore.

As I'm about to shut off my car, a song comes on the radio. I lean back in my seat and turn the dial, making the lyrics blast through my speakers.

*Four's POV*

"Then I told her I'd make her fall for me again."

Zeke and Uriah stare at me, as if I've grown three heads.

"Okay...know you're not really the most romantic of people right?" Zeke asks. Uriah just looks dumbfounded.

"Yes. That's the problem." I say, growing irritated.

I see Christina walking over to us, looking annoyed. "Are you kidding me? I just had basically the same conversation with your girlfriend. Who is completely confused right now."

"Is she okay?" I ask, completely forgetting to correct the 'girlfriend' part, and ignoring how she just jumps into our conversation.

"She's fine mostly. like I said she's totally confused. I mean, who declares their love for someone then does nothing for a week?"

"I did not declare my love for her." I scoff.

"You totally did." All three of them chorus.

"Are you gonna help me or not?" It's weird to ask for her help. Christina and I have never been that close.

"Told her you weren't very nice." Christina mutters. "Listen, Friday is the last beach party of the year. Ill handle everything then. okay?"

"What does that mean, you'll handle it?"

"Until then, just be nice to her or something." Then she is sauntering away, meeting Tris and pulling her toward the school doors.

"You didn't answer my question!" I yell after her.

Tris turn around and looks at me confused.

Christina grins at me in a way I can only describe as devious.

Oh god.

*Tris' POV*
"What was that about?" I question as Chris drags me to our lockers.

"Don't worry about it." she brushes the question off.

"So," I change the subject. "I think I have a song to sing this friday."

"Oh?" She sounds nervous.

"Yeah... are you okay? What's wrong?"

"Nothing!" She quickly perks up. I narrow my eyes. "Really nothing. You have everything for first hour right?"

"Yeah, but-"

"Awesome, lets go! Don't want you to be late!" She grabs my arm and pulls me at high speed down the hall.

"Chris class doesn't start for twenty minutes! Why-"

"Ah here we are." she shoves me into a class room and starts to walk away.

"Chris! Where are you going? This isn't even our room!" I call out the door.

She turns around and grins at me, waving sweetly. There was nothing sweet about the smile.

She gets that smile when she's plotting something.

What the hell is going on?

Hey guys. Let me start by begging for forgiveness because it's been so long since my last update.

I would really appreciate some feedback for this chapter, it did not end up how I thought it would. so I'm feeling iffy about it.

What do you think Chris is up to?
What do you think will happen next?

Also since I haven't done a question in a while the QOTC is: what song do you think of when reading this? What song do you think describes their relationship, or a certain moment in it?

I'd love to know! Maybe I'll use the song in the future ;)

Sorry again for the wait.

Xoxo, dauntnlessx

Ps, my message box is always open :)
