Awsten ended up getting to school at lunch time. He kissed Jawn goodbye and watched him walk off to the cafeteria. Awsten felt his heart melting, he really, really liked Jawn. He opened up his locker, frowning when a letter fell out. "Not again," he whispered, tucking it into his science book. He shut his locker and stormed off to the cafeteria, sort of upset about the letter but also really curious. He went into the cafeteria and frowned, looking over at his group of 'friends.' He went and over to them, mumbled a hi and was immediately ignored. The topic of this weeks conversation was politics. Awsten hated politics. He looked around the cafeteria, seeing if he could sit literally anywhere else.

"Awsten!" Otto grinned. "Hey, come sit!" He pointed to the empty seat across from him. He was sitting with that quarterback and the cheerleader girl. Awsten figured that they had talked. He smiled and went and sat with them, sorta upset how his 'friends' were completely unphased by him leaving. "Hey!" He said cheerfully, hoping that his hair was vaguely covering his hickey, which had turned more into a bruise now. He looked over at the quarterback. "You played last night, right? I don't really do sports but it was cool!" He smiled.

Geoff was absolutely dumbstruck. He nodded, his mouth open in shock. He could feel a blush creeping up his neck towards his face.

Awsten shrugged it off, turning back to Otto and the cheerleader. "You're Grace, right? I'm Awsten, it's nice to meet you."

Grace smiled and introduced herself, launching into a conversation about why the Gym teacher was a creep. Now that was something Awsten could talk about.

Otto listened in, adding a few words in about how gross he was. "You know, I'm 90 percent sure he spies on the cheerleaders," Otto shuddered. "Geoff's caught him before. He looked all guilty and had his clipboard covering his dick."

"Fuck, that's disgusting!" Grace gasped. "Is it true?" She looked at Geoff.

Geoff wasn't even listening. He was just staring at Awsten in absolute awe. How could someone so beautiful be so close to him?

"Geoff." Otto said.

Geoff was just daydreaming. If Geoff had the courage to he'd be talking to Awsten right now, making him choose him over that weird red-head.

"Awsten," Geoff breathed. "I-it's me. I was writing you the letters." Geoff watched as Awstens face lit up.

"It was you?" Awsten beamed. "G-Geoff, this is all so unexpected - you really like me?"

Geoff nodded, intertwining their fingers together in a loose hold. "I really love you, Awsten. I'm absolutely infatuated with you. I'm just a geeky asshole who spends way too much time playing on a gameboy. But instead of dumb cheat codes, you're the only thing in my head. And you're not dumb, you're.. you're special. You're special to me." Geoff whispered. "I'm so incredibly in love with you."

"Geoff!" Otto snapped impatiently. "Dude, what's up? You're never like this. Fuckin' weirdo," Otto rolled his eyes. "So Awsten? Have you gotten anymore love letters since last week?"

"Love letters? Oo.." Graces face lit up. "Who are they from?"

"Dunno," Awsten shrugged. "But I got one today!" He reached into his bag, slipping it out of his book. "I haven't read it yet," he ripped open the envelope, smiling at the blue coloured paper this time. "I'll read it out," he took a deep breath.

"To my dearest Awsten." Awsten giggled, oblivious to the look of shock on Geoff's face. "I don't know what I'm feeling right now. For the past few months I have been feeling in love, but now I feel numb. I saw you kissing him. It's okay, I know you would never choose me. But it still hurt." Awsten could feel his heart break for the writer.

Geoff was on the verge of tears.

"I hope one day you'll find out who I am. But right now I don't think I want you to know. I still love you, Awsten. But right now you're just the boy who broke my heart." Awsten went quiet at the last few words.

"I have a few more words to say to you. I am so completely in love with you. You know me, but you don't know me personally, Awsten. I wish you knew me. I wish you loved me. But I guess you don't get everything you want in the world." Awsten was whispering at this point.

"I love you Awsten.

From, someone with their heartbroken."

Awsten went quiet and folded the letter back up. "Well," he whispered. "It was a little happier last time," he forced out a smile, looking up at the three people. Tears were running down Grace and Geoff's cheeks, but for two very different reasons. Otto was quite obviously upset, too. "It's all good." Awsten whispered.

"Come here, buddy," Otto wrapped an arm around Awstens neck, ruffling his hair playfully. "You'll be fine."

"O-on a lighter note," Grace wiped some tears away. "I like the decorations on your neck."

Awsten went red, quickly covering his hickey. "I-I, uh-" he stuttered. "It's not what it looks like?"

"So that's why you weren't in Gym today?"  Geoff asked, disappointed. "Y-you player." He added, so it wouldn't sound weird.

"What? Oh, shut up," Awsten blushed deeply.

Geoff was past crying now. He imagined giving Awsten a hickey himself. He imagined when it would be like to mark up Awstens body.

To make the boy his.
