"I-I need help!" Geoff called out, kneeling next to Awsten. He felt sick. "Help!"
Otto sprinted across the track to Geoff, kneeling next to him. "What happened?!"
"H-he passed out?! I dunno!" Geoff gasped. "What do I do?!" He was freaking out.
"I've got this, I'm a professional." Otto lifted Awsten up, supporting the back of his head. He grimaced as a fountain of thin, yellow-ish vomit ran down his shirt. Blood ran out of Awstens little nose at a fast pace, coating his light blue shirt in the colour.
"What do we do?!" Geoff was close to crying. "Awsten, you gotta wake up."
"He's fine, cmon. We gotta take him to the nurses office. You take his legs, I'll take his shoulders." Otto got behind Awsten, watching as Geoff got in front of him.
"One, two, three." Geoff picked Awsten up by his legs, frowning as Otto struggled.
"Let's swap sides." Otto laughed awkwardly, putting Awsten down. He grimaced as Awstens limp body landed straight into the pile of puke.
"Otto!" Geoff snapped. "You hurt him!" He picked Awsten up by under the shoulders, glaring at Otto. "Be gentle, Otto. He's just a little baby." Geoff and Otto started to walk across the field, over to where the Gym teacher was. He looked disgusted.
"What's wrong?" He growled, looking at Awsten.
"Awsten had a seizure, I think," Geoff explained. "He just collapsed and started to puke and bleed everywhere."
"Take him to the office." Mr. Crouch barked.
"Yes sir." Geoff and Otto hurried off to the nurses office. Geoff was absolutely terrified for Awsten. His poor little baby was so sick. Why was Awsten even at school?
When they got to the nurses office, the two boys laid Awsten on the bed. "Will you be okay here while I go and get the nurse?"
Geoff nodded, watching Otto leave. His attention immediately went to Awsten. "I'll clean you up a little, okay? You're okay I'm here and I'll make you feel better." He started to imagine this scenario, but if they were older. And if Awsten was conscious.
Luckily for him, Awsten woke up after Otto left. He started to imagine what it would be like to take care of Awsten if he was sick. He smiled to himself.
—
"Hey, Awsie," Geoff whispered, gently feeling Awstens forehead. "You feeling okay?"
Awsten shook his head, his pretty brown hair falling against the pillow. "Feel sick." He mumbled croakily. He held his arms out for a hug, which Geoff happily obliged with.
Geoff held Awsten in his arms tightly. "You're okay. I'll make you feel better." He picked up a mug from the bedside table and handed it to Awsten, gently rubbing Awstens tummy with one hand.
Awsten pouted and took a sip, sighing happily. "Thank you." He whispered, wiping his forehead with his free hand. He felt like throwing up.
"I love-"
—
"What do you love?" Awsten took a sip of the water Geoff had given him.
"Huh? Oh-" Geoff shook the thought out of his head, going back to rubbing Awstens stomach gently. Awsten was complaining that it hurt. "Ya know, caring for people. I wanna be a Doctor but I don't really like uh.. blood." He winced, thankful that the lie seemed to fool Awsten.
Awsten sighed sadly, putting the water down and wiping his face with a tissue. He watched Geoff rub gentle circles into his stomach, smiling at the comfort. "You have really nice hands." He pointed out.
"Uh, thanks. I grew them myself." Geoff giggled nervously, focussing on rubbing Awstens swollen tummy.
Otto came in with the nurse. "Hey, everything okay?" Otto panted, frowning. "Are you kidding?! I didn't need to get her?!" He watched the giggling pair with an upset look. "I ran across the school and back!" He whined.
